Timex X Stranger Things Watch

Great throwback piece to 1986 with the Timex X Stranger Things collaboration. This piece has a great alarm that is slightly out of touch from the actual theme song but gives it a nostalgic vibe. The interface is easy to set for the time and alarms and stop watch functions. It also has a great indiglo light up function to see the time in the dark, when you press it you can see the nefarious "Mindflayer" from seasons 2 and 3.I give this piece 5 stars as it's a very unique and fun piece.

The media could not be loaded. I bought the Camper version as a Christmas gift to myself. I love the upside-down numbers, the color scheme, and the Indiglo light function revealing the demogorgon is very cool, paired with the glow-in-the dark feature, it makes telling time in the dark very easy. Oh, and I just recently discovered while looking for a manual that when you open up the box, an image of the Demogorgon is shown, cute little easter egg there.Now onto the downsides.1) The crown can easily be pulled out of the watch. I barely pulled it when I adjusted the time and it flew off. Exercise caution when adjusting the time. I was able to put it back and it still works but I hope the waterproof function isn’t compromised because of it. Also, why is it silver? It should’ve been black too for a sleeker design or red if they want a contrasting effect.2) Now that I have it in my hands, I agree with a previous review that it does feel like a toy. It’s very light and the material feels cheap. I expected it to be made of metal but this feels like plastic to me. Also the strap feels cheap too. I wish they spent more on a better strap but well, this is what we have.3) The Indiglo Demogorgon light can only be seen in a dark room, it’s barely visible even if there’s just a little light in the room, and while there is a glow-in-the-dark feature, the tiny arrows representing the numbers barely holds the glow for long unlike the ones in the hands.I will say this is still the “Stranger Things x Timex” watch that truly gives off the “Stranger Things” vibe. Upside-down numbers, a color scheme that matches the title screen of the show, and the Demogorgon Indiglo light that you can show anytime, granted it’s in a dark room, is very cool. And that Easter egg on the box is a nice cherry on top, but for the price? If it were $60 I’d say it’s reasonable, but for the price I paid it for at $85.95, it costs quite abit too much for the overall quality and feel of the watch, good thing I’m a fan, because I’d pay even to an upwards of $100 for this just for the design alone, but I still want a “quality” watch, and this one is not it.If you’re a fan, go for it, but if not, wait for a price drop, anything around the $60 mark and you’re sure to get your money’s worth.

My kid loves this watch. It’s slightly retro but can be worn without anyone knowing it’s particular to a show. The only complaint is the buttons are difficult to press to change time etc. Very happy with the purchase!

Perfect for if you’re a fan and a perfect gift for those who are. Love the box it came in, a little cherry on top. The Mind Flayer showing up when you press then indigo option is just the best. Best purchase I made in awhile.

I paid full price ($89) for this watch even though other reviews have such terrible feed back.What can I say, I really loved the show.When it came in I immediately noticed red flags. This watch, a very over priced novelty watch from a Netflix show, was obviously a nasty used watch. Dead skin/gunk/food particles as well as scratches and scuffs. No protective vinyl stickers or anything. Just a gross nasty watch. That I paid full price for and it should have been new. This was supposed to be a fun buy and it’s been the most unenjoyable experience I’ve had.This is my first TIMEX watch. If I can’t get this corrected it will be my last.

While I like the watch (I purchased the T80 model which has a metal case and band ) , I currently cannot recommend it as a purchase for anyone else. It is a decent low end digital watch but at the time of this review, it costs over $70 and isn't worth that price. I bought it for myself because 1) I am a big fan of the show. 2) I like retro style digital watches 3) I recently worked a lot of overtime and had money burning a hole through my wallet. At most, the watch should cost $40. You can get a similar Casio or Timex digital without the stranger things branding for $20-$30 or for well under $70 you can get a nice Casio G-Shock. At least it is a Timex and not some knock off Chinese brand. I am happy with the watch, but I knew when buying it that I was being gouged for an extra $40 because it had a stranger things faceplate and a few minor features.*** Update 3/13/23I noticed that the Atlantis model (the digital one with a resin strap) was down to $43.99 and like a good Stranger Things fanboy I purchased it. Out of the two models that I now own, I prefer the T80 model that has a metal case and band. The Atlantis is very much a cheap looking and cheap feeling plastic watch. You have to look very closely to see that it has anything to do with Stranger Things because the branding is very small. The only thing I really like is that the mindflayer (smoke monster) shows up when you press the light button, but this does make the watch harder to read in the dark. If you must have a Stranger Things Watch (like I do), I recommend the metal one which has much better artwork and doesn't look or feel as cheap (it's a halfway decent low end watch IMO). It costs nearly $20 more at the time of this review at $63.31, but it's well worth the extra coin (or you can just get a non Stranger Things Casio G-Shock instead which is honestly much more bang for the $$$$. )

They don't show this in the description, but the indiglo button shows the mind flaire in the background. And it's a cool, nostalgic looking timex watch if you are in your 30s, or you just love this show

Love these style of watches because they look retro and are well made for the price. I love the image of the cast from the stranger things show and really adds a nice touch that gets people's attention. Came with a cool collector's box too.

Watch is beautiful and unique! Was quite a bit lighter than I expected, The packaging was awesome and a nice touch!I only have one issue with it which is the lighting to the watchEven in the dark it seems to be a little bit too low of lighting, you practically need to be in pitch black darkness to enjoy the lightings full beauty!Regardless though the watch is beautiful and very much so worth it!

The three watches released in this collection have different properties so do double check you are getting what you need. They have varying degrees of water resistance. Some play the theme. Some light up with different characters.Lovely for any fan
