Really glad I purchased that! It's actually become very useful! I'm someone who doesn't really like the taste of water, especially from the tap. Our tap water isn't very nice to drink and this honestly has made such a difference! I didn't think it would make much of a difference but when I tried it after filtering the water honestly tastes so different. It's so much nicer and easier to drink! Added together with a bit of squash and it's honestly so nice to drink. Ive also started giving filtered water to my pets as well and they seem to like it more and drink more of it than they used to! So id say it's a win all round! Will definitely be sticking to this from now on.Also the jug is a great size, can hold a fair amount of water, fits in the fridge shelves perfectly and feels quite sturdy! I haven't had any issues with the handle coming off.

Brilliant filter jug, ideal size for me. Great value, delivered on time and in excellent condition. Came with a filter, just let it sit in water for 10 minutes before first use.

Firstly the construction of this product is solid and the face that it has a removable handle makes it much easier to store in the side of the fridge as it takes up less space.The overall capacity of the jug is rather small however i always refill mine after i pour a glass of water and once you get into that habit it becomes more of a pro than a con as its it takes up as much space as a milk bottle in the fridge.Be careful to only fill the jug up to below where the filter sits other wise when you pour the water out of the jug you will not have a good pour and the water will spill everywhere.The taste of the final product is better than the water previous to being filtered and it has allowed me to drink water from the tap in my apartment block. It definitely isn’t the strongest filter out there but it does make a noticeable difference and it is quick to filter the water through the jug.Overall I would say that this product is definitely worth it as the value for money aspect outweighs any little cons it may have. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

I purchased this water filter as the water where I live is very hard. This jug is great. The water quality is lovely and tastes nice. The jug itself is easy to put together, it took less than 5 minutes. The top part of the jug is grey and the bottoms part is clear. There is a nasty open flap that you use to fill it up. This jug does exactly what it’s meant to and value for money it’s exceptional .

Im very happy with my new water filter jug,it came with one cartridge but I used the one I had only used for 2 days before my jug broke...it fits and it's a Tesco water filter so not too badly priced and you can get a single one when needed....I highly recommend it....

I’ve been using this AQUAPHOR water filter jug for a little while now, and I’m really happy with it. It’s easy to set up and use. The filter does a great job of improving the taste of the water, and I can tell the difference from when I used regular tap water.The jug itself is nice and sturdy, and it holds a good amount of water, so I don’t have to refill it constantly. The lid and filter are simple to replace, which makes maintenance a breeze.Only slight problem is when you pour the lid will open, but easy to hold with a finger.Overall, it’s been a great addition to my kitchen, and I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a reliable water filter jug.

I'm not using this for the taste, just keeping my kettle and coffee maker from scaling up and making my tea scummy, so for comments on taste, I'll defer to other reviewers.A few thoughts about the design, though. As the pic shows, because of where the filling slot is, it's quite hard to get it under a tap unless you have one of those really long kitchen taps or a hosepipe handy. It's not that easy to hold the filling flap up with a thumb, either. If you've got stubby thumbs, this may not the eight pound filter jug for you.I'd echo the comments of a few other reviewers that the lid doesn't fit well enough to stop unfiltered water coming out with the filtered water, so you need to wait for the water to finish filtering before you pour. The model I have has quite a low capacity, though, and filters quite quickly, so by the time you've washed your favourite mug and ferreted out the single estate Darjeeling (don't let the lamentable state of the back of my sink fool you, I'm actually very sophisticated) you should be good to go.On the plus side, it's keeping the kettle from scaling and my tea is crystal clear. Also, it was EIGHT POUNDS.
