Works great to move around my little canned ham trailer from ...
Works great to move around my little canned ham trailer from the 1950's. My trailer is about 15 long overall, including the tongue. It weighs about 1,800 lbs.The dolly came double-boxed and assembled easily. The parts are all very high quality. The box had a USA address, so possibly the dolly is USA made?? The photo on Amazon when I purchased was not accurate, as it did not show the third wheel (the smaller caster). The description and reviews did mention the third wheel. The box says the wheels are: two 16 inch wheels and one 10 inch, and although I did not measure them, that sounds correct.I expected the dolly would work fine on pavement, but was especially glad to find that I was able to move the trailer around fairly easily on the dirt in my back yard. The dolly's wheels are large enough to roll easily and not sink in. The dirt was dry and firm, but was far from hard-pack.The third wheel, the caster wheel, is a godsend. After using the dolly today, I would not recommend buying a dolly without the three wheels. The third wheel let's you balance the trailer on three wheels where it is stable. Otherwise, you have to put down the trailer every time you let go of the dolly. With the 3rd wheel, on level ground, you can let go of the dolly to check the position of your trailer when it is balanced on the three wheels. Do make sure to have wheel chocks handy to park the trailer, especially, if you are on uneven, or sloped ground. Have an assistance ready to set the wheel chocks, so you don't have to let go of an unstable trailer (without chocked wheels, the trailer can roll away, if you let go and the ground is sloped or uneven). My only issue is the dolly sets the ball a little high, even on the lowest setting. My trailer needs a tongue height of about 15 inches, when level, and this dolly adjusts the ball from 21 inches to 33 inches according to the label on the box (i posted a photo of the box). That's pretty high for a small trailer. As a matter of fact, when you adjust the ball to the lowest setting the bottom of the square steel tube for the ball is so low it drags on the ground - so the lowest setting is not really attainable. I'm cutting off a couple of inches from the bottom of that tube.

This thing handles tongue weight like a champ.
Bought this to replace the junk I bought from a popular discount tool store. My trailer has a lot of tongue weight and can be cumbersome to move is tight spaces. I have double garage doors with 8 ft openings. My trailer is 7 ft 10 inches from fender to fender. I am able to pull the trailer out of the garage with ease and clear my tight opening without any stress.

A Serious Dolly
This is truly a heavy duty device. It's made of substantial welded steel and weighs about 60 lbs. It was a bit of a surprise when I opened the box and saw the size of the wheels and the thickness of the steel parts.I have a 17' boat and trailer that are very hard to park in a confined area using my truck. I'm not able to push this rig around with just the standard Jack/wheel on the trailer tongue. This dolly makes it possible to move the boat/trailer into it's parking place. It's still takes a fair amount of effort to push the boat into place - but it's now doable even with a slight upward incline of my driveway. If my driveway was completely flat, it would be pretty easy. I can definitely recommend this to someone with a similar need. Also, I'm very glad I didn't buy a cheaper model - I needed every bit of the advantage this device provides. The caster wheel is a great idea.As for 4 stars: The shipping box is way too flimsy - parts were hanging out through holes in the cardboard. I'm really lucky I got all the parts. As another reviewer noted, the handle flops around with a loose fit. I guess it doesn't actually affect the utility of the dolly, but it's somewhat annoying. After I finished the assembly, when I was shredding the cardboard box, I finally found the assembly instructions wedged between some cardboard packing. It would have been nice to have it before assembly - would have saved some fooling around time - but, assembly really was easy and the parts fit together well.I noticed that a person could tip the dolly forward with potentially unpleasant results - I'd suggest raising the tongue jack just far enough to provide clearance from the ground. This would prevent any real problems if the dolly was accidently tipped too far forward.

Heavy duty!!
I've had the 100$ trailer dolly from another brand and they just don't have good stability and can only move small trailers/14ftboat. This one is the real deal. I moved my 18ft boat in grass as advertised. My 14ft skiff whips around with ease. Also, with a boat trailer you can do a 360degree turn.

Difficult to use
I wasn't strong enough to pull or push anything more than a utility trailer with this. Even then the extra wheel would go up in the air. The paved driveway had to be straight. If there was any kind of a hill then forget it. Maybe if I had more power to me then I could have gotten use out of it. I'm ended up selling it for a 1/3 of what I paid for it. Money loser for me for sure.
