So my son is on growth hormone which have to stay at fridge temperature. We was staying in a hotel that doesn’t have a mini fridge. So this was perfect for what we needed. The battery on it lasts a long time. While we was in the hotel for 4 days I kept it plugged in. Very low noise from the fan.Definitely going to take it for all long journeys as I don’t trust the cooler that came with my son’s injection. At least with this I know it will stay the right temperature.

The media could not be loaded. Used to store insulin pens in the UK while on holiday. Stopped working and started beeping, saying that temp is 50C (which it isn't). No customer support site I can find. Some issues with charging from a powerbank as you need the right current (amps) and only a few work. Charging from a car was also inconsistent but better than a powerbank.

This was extremely useful and while it worked. It unfortunately stopped working out of the blue just over a year after I bought it and there doesn’t seem to be anyone I can contact about this which is a shame, as this very expensive product is now useless.***EDITED: I got contacted by the seller and sent the part replacement to fix the fridge very quickly. I fixed it myself despite not being very savvy with this stuff, but it was pretty to do.I'll say again that while working this fridge is brilliant, I have 2 batteries and it lasts a long while. I've used it more than once on long international flights (12+ hours) and never had any issues on the plane. We use it to store growth hormones, and it fits more than one pen which is useful when travelling when you are about to finish a pen.

If the temperature of the contents is critical then be aware there is be aware that there is a discrepancy between the display and the internal temperature achieved. However the build quality of the unit is excellent. Such a shame.

Product continually switches off when not on mains power. Very poor. Also, when powered back on (still off mains power), minimum temperature it drops to, is approximately 17 degrees.I’m hoping to return this item. Expensive and does not function as intended.

Cooler temperature setting is inaccurate with the cooler interior 2 to 3 degrees warmer than the setting. Absolutely useless for storing insulin. This cooler was in a room temperature of only 19 degrees. Goodness knows what warm weather would do to temperature of the cooler, it would certainly damage the insulin. The supposed 5 degree centigrade default automatic temperature setting was 8 degrees the absolute maximum that insulin should be stored at. Quality control is lamentable considering the fridge is for medical purposes.
