I bought this to use as a mounting "bracket" for my dot. I had the old, gutted radio cabinet laying around and decided to install my dot, an audio board, neat led lights and some speakers in to it. Voila! My custom Alexa box. The protective cover is used hold the dot vertically in the cabinet and is mounted with some little L brackets.

This item looks great on my nightstand. I love the look and it fits my echo perfectly! It doesn't interfere with the sound and makes it look more like a decoration than a piece of equipment. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I wanted something that would match my walnut echo for my guest bedroom. This worked perfect! It was a little tight at first but if fit perfectly and doesn’t effect the sound of the dot or it’s ability to hear you. The wood stand helps the echo blend more in with the decor of the room

Well done! This 'real' wood stand holds an Amazon Dot on my roll top oak desk and blends right in. My office is decorated in a sort of 1940s style and this holder helps hide a distinctly 21st century device. The Dot fits perfectly into the 'cup'. I actually added a tiny bit of padding to raise the Dot so the light ring could be seen while I'm sitting at the desk.

Was looking for something to allow my dot to blend in and keep it safe. This is a beautiful piece that is well made. The dot fits perfectly into it and the sound isn’t restricted at all. The natural wood blends in nicely with the furniture. Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed!

I have both the wood and black anodized version of these and like them a lot. I don't find the Dot a particularly sophisticated looking product, and well, I don't suppose it is supposed to be either. These covers go a long way to making the Dot a more respectable looking product. When I first moved, my WiFi was not very well placed and some of my WiFi devices had issues connecting consistently, even though I had Dots at the edge of my WiFi signal strength these holders, with or without, did not effect the range at all, even the aluminum ones.

The quality of the mayerial is indeed good. In my previous alexa echo dot holder, I wasn't able to see the light when I gave commands so it was difficult for me to figure out of it was listening or not. In this one, you can clearly see the outline of the ring as it glows. There's no problem of sound barrier or something like that too.
