Which side of filter faces canister? In or out

There is an arrow showing the direction of the air flow on the filter. It should be placed going into the machine. The machine is drawing air in to create the suction into the canister.

the filter says "in" and the other side says "out" ... which side go to the compressor and which goes to the container?

"IN" goes into canister>>"OUT" goes to suction pump..

will it fit devillis 7305d suction machine???

I don’t know. It fits in the tube between the canister and the pump. I think the tubes are standard but you would have to check yours to be sure.

How long can you go on 1 filter?

Depends on how much you need to use the suction machine. I used to change them monthly when I had to use it 8-10 times a day, but now...once a year, if I remember--kid's had a trach for 16 years now and he hardly needs to be suctioned any more.
