LEATHERMAN, Charge Plus G10 - Multi-Tool with G10 Handles, 19 All Locking Tools Including Knives, Pliers, Saw and Screwdriver, Camping and Fishing Tool, in red with a Nylon Sheath

I was a bit wary to see this particular Leatherman for sale on Amazon. Why? Because they were originally seller exclusives. The one in question (red g10) was exclusive to REI, and was only available through their sales channels, but, with Amazon's pretty awesome return policy, I figured I'd buy first, and ask questions later. Whilst waiting for the product to arrive, I emailed Leatherman directly to inquire about it's authenticity. Sold by Leatherman Tool Group, sounds official, but you never know. I did get a reply stating that these were basically overstock, and we're in fact a genuine Leatherman product. So if you read my review, but with confidence if the seller is Leatherman Tool Group inc.Ok, now to the actual review. The Charge is probably my favorite all around Leatherman. Not my most carried, because it's pretty hefty (The Juice and Skeletool grab most carried honors). The tool selection fits my needs better than most others. Replaceable wire cutters, interchangeable bit driver, eyeglass screwdriver, etc.. in addition to a premium S30V plain edge blade. The g10 improves grip, and is a break from the monotony of most tools in the Leatherman line. Is it expensive? Yeah. Owing to the g10 and S30V knife steel, But they all pay for themselves over time. Worry not, if you take care of it, it'll take care of you for a long time.

I likely have every Leatherman tool made. Some are winners, some are so-so. This one goes in the winner's circle with the Skeletool.This is a great quality tool with great looking handle. Locking toolset is crisp and slop free. Love the blade and holds edge well. It's got a great set of pliers with replaceable cutters.If I had to give one bad mark it would be to the scissors: I've seen better designs on folding scissors and they can be most useful.

I have the titanium model from 15 years ago it is great, I wanted the new one so I ordered the red g10 when I got it first thing I noticed the player was binding when I was closing the tool, this was caused by wrong tolerances so i send it back, this is should have never left the factory with bad quality control, I ordered second one hopefully no problem. Amazon sent me second one, perfect no problems works as it should.

I bought this for my Girlfriend for Christmas but i have carried this same model knife in my pocket and use it almost daily for over a decade now.

The Red Charge G10 was a REI exclusive, so I was worried that this might be a knockoff. It's the real deal. I'm glad I was finally able to find one.

I really like these Leatherman tools! I would like to get a few accessories for them... I like the full bit kit sets, carbide glass breaker bit and the tweezers that fit into these particular tools... those items make these tools more "complete". It would be nice if Leatherman would allow me to get those accessories, but I'm pretty satisfied with what I have at this point. I also bought a red one.

I have been on the hunt for a Leatherman for quite a while. I found this one to have the tools that I was looking for and it is also very stylish. The G10 scales are a nice alternative and are very durable.
