Insect Repellant Lightweight Hoodie for Protecting Dogs from Fleas, Ticks, Mosquitoes & More

I love this hoodie which I am using while my new dog goes through heartworm treatments. I like the protection for him from any new mosquito bites but I also really like it to help prevent the spread of heartworms. (For as long as the worms in a dog have created microfilaria that are still alive, the dog will be capable of spreading heartworm disease through being bitten by mosquitos that incubate the microfilaria and then infect another dog. I really don't wish heartworms on another dog! The treatment is not fun and the worms are very damaging.) The fit is not perfect as my dog is not a perfect shape being a mix. But it is good enough and it is comfortable even in this hot weather we are having. He is wearing it 100% of the time. We have discovered that briefly pulling up the back end of the hoodie is helpful while he pees so he doesn't get the bottom wet....

It was too big on my puppy. But the shirt seemed cool.

I bought this for my chiwawa. She weighs about 10 lbs . She’s long. I ordered a size 12. Very tight . It ended up fitting my mom’s dog who weighs about 5lbs. So I ordered a bigger size. Hope it fits !

My dog has never had fleas, but he has gotten a few ticks. Sometimes my husband and I will go hiking and you never know what you're going to find in the woods. Our dog likes to venture off and I get nervous in the tall brush.I bought this for more of a piece of mind and So far he hasn't come back with anything while having it on, so maybe it's working? It's also a cute shirt just on its own.

Do not buy. Waste of money. Does not repel anything.

I love this product bc it keeps all the bugs off my furbaby..What I don't like is that the good doesn't have much room from the seem..

Shirt is ok but the neck part is small

The jacket is made of t- shirt material, but has held up well. So far it seems to keep the mosquitoes away. I would give it five stars, but I do not know how it will work on deer/horse flies. Our 1 year old lab doesn't mind wearing it, but the hood is useless for her as it doesn't stay put. It is great while fishing as this is when the flying bugs can be a real problem. I havent had it fully submerged it (dog swimming in it) yet to see if it stills keeps bugs away, but it isnt designed for that. I would recommend it for fall use too as it is orange, so hunters can see the dog. I think they have a mesh version now too.
