This is the biggest piece of crap I have ever bought. The directions warn about holes not aligning, no kidding! The package was all torn like it was opened and retaped. The bolts were loose in the box. There were 15 bolts, 20 nuts and several washers missing. That was out of 40 total of each. I was able to break a weld with my hands. Not trying mind you. If I had the original packaging I would definitely return it! Garage Gorilla, what a joke.

The hanging straps for the platform are plastic and cheap. They should be made of steel cable the platform is made well just fix the cables.

Does exactly what it says it does. I ad our handyman install it, so I can't comment on ease of installation but it is perfect for what I needed. Seems very solid. I park my car under it every night.

I opened the package picked up the bag of nuts and bolts and the fell all over the garage floor because the bag was already ripped open. The first instruction said to use the GOLD nuts and bolts, they were not gold. The second instructions said to use the BLACK nuts, bolts and washer, they were not black. The slat bolt holes don't line up. Despite all of this I managed to put it together correctly the first time. I'm giving it four stars because it will function they way it was advertised. I don't believe in giving a product one star just because the instructions suck.

When the package arrived, the heavy parts were falling out of the end of the cardboard box. The box was inadequate for the weight of the loose heavy steel pieces when shipped via a service like UPS. The decking of the platform is lightweight sheetmetal. These sheetmetal pieces were all covered in iron oxide dust (rust) and had to be cleaned before I could use them. The holes in the corner brackets didn't line up with the edge support angles, and I had to drill them out to get the bolts in place. However, after I got the platform cleaned up, assembled, and hooked up to the Garage Gator winch, the setup worked great. I use it to raise my adult recumbent tricycle above my car in the garage.

Bought this thinking it was all I needed! Wrong! Very heavy!!

Some of the required hardware (nuts and bolts) fell out of holes in the packaging during shipment. I do not have enough hardware to build the product.Looks like it will be a sturdy platform once I go get some hardware.
