Super cute! Ordered for my sons Fairy Tale Ball to finish their first grade fairy tale unit. I had a shield from the dollar store. The only thing is, as others have mentioned, the helmet was a little snug. He does have a bigger head (:p) and he pulled it down tightly and it seemed to stretch and work. He did say the silver sleeve part was a little itchy so we just made sure to wear a 3/4 sleeve shirt under.

I bought this costume as a Christmas gift last year. My son had been asking for armor & I thought this was perfect. However, it does not come with the armor. I ordered it separately but it's from the same company. My son enjoyed wearing the suit. It fit him well with room to move around & fight dragons & enemies lol.

Part of the costume was itchy and head part was very small but the rest of the costume was good for several wears.

While made well, it runs small and the head piece was especially small. Luckily I bought a size larger then I normally would so it fit.

Purchased this for my grandson- he loves it! I had initially been concerned with the reviews stating the helmet ran small, but it fit him very well -though I did purchase a size up for him. The extras- gauntlets & boot tops- put a big smile on his face. And both boys absolutely loved the capes on their costumes [go figure! lol! :)] I'm impressed with both this costume & the one I purchased for his brother: California Costumes Gallant Knight Toddler Costume. Both are adorable, realistic, look absolutely great on them & are very well made. I had made the mistake of ordering Medieval Lord Kids Costume- oh my, was that a disappointment! No comparison between the two companies for quality- you can see & feel the difference right out of the package. The Medieval Lord costume was made from flimsy material & had many unfinished seams- more of a cheap, disposable costume to be worn only a few times. The costumes from California Costumes are sturdy enough to hold up to my grandsons' adventures. I'm very pleased & would purchase from California Costumes again! Was amazed when I ordered it in the afternoon & it arrived the next afternoon!

While the fabric chainmail portion was a bit itchy on the inside, we resolved that by wearing an undershirt. The faux chainmail armour look of the costume was spot on and my son felt very “cool” he kept charging around the fair and having sword battles. We chose not to wear the helmet which included the faux chainmail as it was itchy on the face and neck. Overall we love the costume! For reference my son usually wears between size 8-10 clothing.

This costume is priced very well, so we expected a generic costume that would be enough to serve its purpose. However, this costume is GREAT. It looks SO MUCH BETTER in person than the picture. My son and I are very pleased!

Great costume! Very well made. Small fit so go up a size. Sword and shield do not come with costume but easy to find at any dollar store for less.

Runs a little on the small side so I'm glad I ordered the largest size. The fit is perfect for my 10 year old who's about 95 lbs and 4 ft. 8 in.
