Does this cartridge work in Canon MF4770n?

From what I've seen online, the Canon MF4770n does use the same 128 cartridge. The actual part number for the 128 cartridge is 3500B001(AA) and that matches the cartridge used in the Canon MF4770n.

is the cartridge Canon 128 that came with the printer a 2500 copy model - we have just used it a month and it already needs to be replaced

The cartridge that comes with the printer is a starter cartridge that Canon rates at 1000 copies, far less than the 2500 copies with the purchase of a Canon cartridge. That puts the per copy cost at about 3.2 cents.

is the date printed on the box a use-by date? Just got one on 2-12-15 with a 2012-7-15 date.
