Didn't leak, kept cast dry at the river for a week!
This was a total BLESSING for us this summer! My 7 year old ended her school year with a broken arm then 2 months later broke the same arm again! This all happened the week before we left for summer vacation at the river. I went to a local durable medical equipment company however they did't have her size in stock but the price was the same as here on Amazon so I ordered here with my Prime to get expedited shipping so it came in time for our trip. After reading reviews I was skeptical and hesitant to wait until our trip to try this out so the night it arrived I put it on her and made her lay in a bath for about half hour to test. I figured if it leaked and her cast got wet i'd rather have it happen here so I could get a new cast before our trip than while traveling to find an ortho to recast. It worked perfectly! I followed the advice of another reviewer and put a long tube sock on her arm over the cast. This enabled ease in putting on and taking off. She wore the cast cover for 7 days straight and spent about 8 hours a day in the river, jumping in and out, picking shells and rocks out of the bottom, swimming, paddle boarding, boating, tubing and more. Not once did we have a problem with leaking. The cast cover worked perfectly each and every time without fail. I did make her take 5 minute breaks at least once an hour to "air" it out. The directions I believe suggest every 45 minutes but I found once an hour for 5-10 min worked best for us. I'd take the cover off after drying her upper arm, remove it, put it in the sun and take the sock off and also place in the sun to dry out. Then we would put it back on and off she would go back out into the water. You can see in the pics nothing stopped her from having a good time.I highly recommend using a tube sock each and every time, airing it out every hour and making sure you get the correct fit. My daughter is 7 and you can see her size in the pics, approx 61 pounds. She wore an adult long size small. It fit perfectly. It did stretch out some over the course of the week and she probably could've gotten by with the extra small however I think length would have been compromised. As the week wore on we simply inflated it more and if she got too wild in the water we would check it frequently to make sure it was still in a suction mode vs, inflated and allowing water/air inside.Don't lose the little bulb suction you deflate with. We kept it with us at all times and it was simple enough for her to use on her own. Put on and take off is a two person job. She was able to help me but couldn't' have done it alone (1 person wearing the cast cover and putting it on themselves).Overall this was the best investment i've made in a long time. She used it after we came home during bath time and to swim a couple more times during the summer. It was worth the money and i'd purchase again in a heart beat.

READ before nou buy. NO RETURNS & Doesn't FIT
I should have read the reviews on amazon before I purchased. My daughter needed something to cover her wrist / cast for our family vacation. Read the reviews on their website & everything looked great. I mearured everything correctly. I ordered 2 just in case. The color of one was wrong / never opened. Opened the correct one only to discover that it didn't fit on my daughter. Couldn't even get it over her cast. We tried it on her other wrist for measurement & it was awful. It was to late to exchange so I use other items for her to wear in the ocean & pool. I went to return the items & it says NO RETURNS. If I new that I wouldn't have bought two, let alone one. Now i have these items I can't use & they were expensive. The one that cost $16.00 was amazing. I didn't even see where it said No Returns. Very unhappy with this company. Please read before you buy, apparently I am not the only parent that has had this issue with this company.

This Product Saved Our Vacation!
This is an amazing product and I highly recommend it! It saved our vacation! My 5 year old son broke his arm 4 days before we left for a weekend at a water park resort. I did some research and ordered this product that night, and it arrived a day before we left thanks to Amazon Prime 2-day free shipping! We followed the measurement guidelines on the Dry Pro website, which really helped, otherwise we never would have gotten the right size. As we used it, we learned a few things about what works best and what may cause it to lose its seal.Tips:1. Every other review said to use a tube sock or flannel so the rubber doesn't snag on the cast. We used regular tube socks and it was a must-have! We brought a whole package of them and we used a new one each time we put the cover back on, because they get sweaty, especially in the warm pool areas.2. The package recommends taking the cover off every 45 minutes. We didn't see the need for this strict timeline--however, we did notice that after 60-75 minutes, it would start to lose its seal and let air in. We believe this is because of sweat (which would make the rubber start to slip on his skin). It wasn't a huge deal because we would take a break, have a snack, let the rubber dry (which took only a few minutes) and then get it back on. It could have also been because he was doing ninja moves in the wave pool, and all that hacking after a while could have made it lose its seal too.3. Although I was nervous at first, it really is best to be actually IN the water with it. We would bounce between the pool, wave pool, and lazy river, and the lazy river was the trickiest. Because he would be trying to hang on to the tube and float down the river, his arm would move around so much that it would lose its seal and we'd need to go back to pump the air out of it. When he was in the pool, it was no problem at all.4. Bring a rubber band. The product seems very large, but once you pump out the air, it is just a wrinkled pile of rubber over the cast. It looks like a large mitten, which is kind of funny because you'd never actually put your thumb in the thumb area. He had a large flap on top once it was tight, which we joked was his "shark fin." We used a rubber band/hair tie to hold the fin down so it didn't get in his way.All in all, this product is fantastic! Don't hesitate--you will not regret having it, especially if you have an active child and swimming on your agenda!

Great product
This was a life saver for our daughter who broke her arm right before our beach vacation. It worked great and kept water & sand from getting in.

This product saved our vacation!
This is an amazing product and worth every penny! My son broke his wrist right before summer vacation. He was so upset that he would be able to swim - not to mention we boat quite a bit as well. We also had a camping trip planned so swimming would be part of that too. I am happy to report that this cast cover works so well. No water got in at all. He swam his heart out with this thing on and no water whatsoever got in. The seal is very strong. Excellent, excellent product. Thank you.
