I needed this for a trip to Malta! I had a small appliance that needed to be converted. It was not dual power like many other everyday items. It works fine and I use it specifically for that one item mainly so I always keep in mind that this specific item needs to be converted.

I bought this because it was a little more reasonably priced than some of the other converters and I love it! I've been using it in Italy for 5 months so far with no issues at all. I regularly use it for my electric water kettle and my blow dryer. I do make sure I unplug it after each use because the few times I have left it plugged into the outlet, I noticed that it gets warm. Otherwise I'm very happy with it.

Did not worked. Flat iron will not heat up even when on, and blow dryer made weird noise but no hot air.

Tried in UK. It does not mount firmly to the wall. It is annoyting that you have to tilt it at the just the right angle for it to connect! Any slight move will cause it to disconnect. On a flat laying socket, (power strip) I could never get it work connect! Once you make it connect it does; however, work flawlessly. I think it is a good prouct, light,small and handles hight wattage without getting hot. They just need to imporive the way it mounts.

Clunky but effective at converting 220-240 to 110-120v. Heavy and large, it would not fit some plug-ins. I only used the low wattage setting. Don't know if it would operate a hair dryer, etc.

Thank goodness I bought this one and another model and took both on our trip. I tried to let other family members know aboutthe difference in electricity between USA and Europe. They did not believe me, I guess. They seemed to appreciate the fact thatI had an extra one to lend. I liked this one the best. Compact and easy to use. No problems getting through security or customseither. Just put it in checked baggage.

This travel converter worked well for my trip to Europe. Used the converter for my hair dryer and phone charger.Very easy to change the plug with the side button. Compact and definitely will recommend to those that travel often.
