Great Comfort, Great Design, Great Fit.
Before I bought this I searched for a five pound wrist weight that would fit as tight as a comfortable watch. Other reviewers said it would and they were correct. It fits snugly/perfectly on my wrists. The stitching and design of these seems to be mechanically and aesthetically excellent, so I tried them on ankles to see if they were better than the floppy five pound ankle weights I already have. The weight part covers the front 270 degrees of ankle, but they are snug so its perfect. They don't slip around. For now, I am going to use these excellent weights on my ankles and use 2.5 lb weights on my wrists to build back up to these. Then, I will get another pair so I will have them on both wrists and ankles. I don't see how this very comfortable and well designed product could be improved.

Well made product
I am recovering from knee replacement surgery. I bought ankle weights (another brand) to build up the strength in my surgical leg prior to surgery, per my Physical Therapists recommendation. Those began to leak after a month or two so I purchased the SHOUNg ankle weights after my surgery to help me maintain the strength I had achieved prior to surgery. They are easy to apply around the ankle, can be adjusted fit very snuggly around the ankle, comfortable to wear and seem to be very well made (no leaking, so far). This is my first time purchasing a SHOUNg product and based on how the ankle weights are working out for me, would purchase other products made by this same brand.

Not really Ankle Weights
They make better wrists weights than ankle weights. Not bad tho

Definitely worth it, good quality.
Very good quality ankle/wrist weights. I'm a bigger boy, 6'1" 220lbs, and they fit great around my ankle & wrists, comfortably. No painful stitched lining or sharp edges. They're soft, durable and silent, (no 'sandbag' sound like cheap older weights). Very good quality, worth the price.

Great for in pool therapy...
I purchased these ankle weights for my in pool spinal decompression therapy, and they work great!! Easy to use and they dry quickly once out of the water.

If you need something for ten minutes of exercises or rehab this may be a great product for you
REGARDING THE 10lb VERSION:To be very clearly, the 3/5 for this product is only because of comfort, which seems to be exclusively a problem with the metal connector for the velcro strap, and is only really an issue on longer wears. I wear this product to make my workout tougher, and use it to run to the gym, wear it for about an hour and a half of exercise, including lifting and for cardio, and walk back with it. If you need something for ten minutes of exercises or rehab this may be a great product for you.Quality 4/5: The fabric is soft, the material and seams seem strong and unlikely to leak bits of iron sand. The velcro holds wells. The sand stays somewhat well dispersed, but does tend to move a bit towards one side or the other, but can easily be adjusted by a bit of shaking.Comfort: 2/5 The weight portion is comfortable and cloth is soft and unabrasive, but the connector, where the single velcro strap wraps around a small metal buckle, becomes uncomfortable within about ten minutes, as the metal piece is not protected and rubs against the ankle. I've mostly resolved this problem wearing taller socks and wrapping a small piece of cloth around the buckle. THAT BEING SAID, I've tried several of these products and have no found a comfortable solution. These are more comfortable then most, and do the job with some slight modification. I have thinnish ankles, I'm not sure if the problem would be better or worse with large ankles.Look 5/5: You look like an idiot wearing big ole ankle weights. A dedicated sweaty idiot! Deal with it, these are a plenty fashionable product for what they are.Weight 5/5: They weigh almost exactly 5lbs each.

Didn't Last
These were okay, while they lasted. Some dark sand started to spill out, till one day, the whole load came out in big piles of dark sand. They should have encased the sand in a strong material then used the softer fabric on the outside. This way, the sand would not seep out and spill out when the softer material gets porous. They were fairly comfortable as long as you didn't use them without having socks underneath since the strap rubs on your ankles. Sometimes, turning the strap to be on your shoe side instead of your ankle side helped. Would like to contact the seller to complain about it falling apart, but Amazon didn't have their contact link and the item is currently unavailable. Hopefully, due to redesign.

Love them
This is my first pair of ankle weights ever - and I have very very small ankles. I got these to wear during my morning walks and to help me ease back in to strength training at home and they have been great. They do slip down on me but when I have the right shoes on - training shoes - it helps keep the weights in place and so far they have not caused any injury or soreness in the wrong areas. The velcro always stays in place as well, which is great.
