Update: My original review was less than stellar because the tent self-destructed after 4 uses. To their credit, the company contacted me and replaced the tent free of charge. I have now used this tent more times that the original and my conclusion is that the first tent must have been defective. My husband and I are able to set this one up in a matter of minutes. The pieces slide into place effortlessly. Now my tent is the nicest one at the fair. Kudos to this company for standing behind their product in such an outstanding manner. I do recommend their product. I was excited to put this up the first time as I started to sell at fairs and expos. It was very stiff to open but it was new and expected. I bought this canopy exactly 2 months ago and used it a total of eight times and at no time did I get rained on. It never got any easier to open. The lowest part of the legs slid out easily and snapped into the holes quickly. The difficulty was with the top part of the legs. It seemed to need superhuman strength to push it into position. It needs at least 2 people to put it up. None of these issues changed as I kept using the canopy. Fast forward to two weeks ago when hubby and I were struggling with the top part when we heard a snap. Looking for the source, we found one of the struts that hold up the canopy had broken out of the joint. Why? All we were asking it to do was its' job! At the end of the day, we closed it up. A week later, we opened it again. It was even harder to open it and another strut broke. At the end of the day, it was a hell trying to close it. We got home and put it at the curb as garbage.UPDATE: I was contacted by this company, and they are sending a new tent. I truly appreciate this as they reached out to me and not the other way around. This is good customer service. If the new tent works as advertised, I will amend my review.

Update:Seller contacted me and refunded me 100%. The seller asked for photos of my canopy for the purpose of improving the canopy quality. Seller first gave me two options, either a refund or a replacement. I opted for refund and just confirmed my refund back to my account. Excellent customer service. I will definitely purchase from this Seller when their tent is upgraded with better quality. Seller stated that they are currently working on improvement and soon they will have a better holding canopy. Can't wait for their newer model!We bought this last year on a Black Friday Sale. We were very excited to finally being able to use during the hot sunny summer months. It was my daughter's birthday. So we put it for the first time. It rained for about 2 hours. It did not hold 2 hours of rain. It wasn't even that windy. Water accumulated which caused the canopy to break down. This canopy doesn't do its job. Water does not fall through. You can see the amount of water accumulated. I am very upset that it didn't even last one rain. I have had other canopies and it was sturdy, rain fell through and didn't break due to accumulated rain.

I bought this for pop-up events and farmers markets for my pottery business. It held up great on a very windy day, when other peoples tents were blowing away! (I had the sand bag weights that came with the tent). I can put it together by myself but it’s much easier with another person. Can also take it down by myself, but again so much better with one other person. I’m very happy with the tent and did a lot of research first!

I bought this for a specific area that is 6' 6" (6.5) square. This shade measures 6' 8" square so it is slightly too large. Probably not a concern for most people. The cloth seams a little loose.

Easier to assemble if you are doing an event by yourself. Very sturdy and I will say this is thicker material than what I purchased at Academy for less money. This was worth the price.

This 10 x 10 was used for a picnic table cover. People were able to stand at table an snack and still be out of the sun. Happy we bought it.

The carrying bag started coming apart the 1st day I used it. It is SO HARD to push up the top. The canopy is already coming apart where it's sewn. I'm really disappointed but it's going to have to do until I can get another one like my original tent. I mean it's ok but I guess I got spoiled w/the center push up kind & the sewn part already coming apart ( noticed it at very first event) along with the bag tells me everything I need to know

This was purchased to be placed on the back porch of our toy hauler and it is perfect! It’s much better than having an awning! Easy to put up and take down. Best purchase of the summer!
