The mic is fantastic
The headphones aren't bad either. I bought these used for a lower price, so that may be affecting my perception, but they really do sound great on both ends. If you watch reviews for them on YouTube, you really can't tell when they switch from using their professional microphones to using the audio from these. That's impressive for a headset, my god. The RGB lights are annoying, but that can be handled with their iCUE software on WIndows and Mac. For Linux users, you're kinda effed, but if you set the RGB profile the way you want while connected to a real OS, the profile will remain on the hardware no matter what Linux distro you're using them with. ( I use suicide BTW) They're comfortable on the ears, and the head, though they may not fit a small person/child. The build quality is excellent. I will make complaints as I have them, but for now I have none. They might be a little much in the high-frequency range, but that can be knocked out with an equalizer. Good product. They sound just as good as other headphones in their price range, maybe better, and then the mic sounds just as good as a dedicated omnidirectional you would buy for $50. Well worth the price IMO.

Very Happy (Thankfully)...
I bought these to replace my Corsair Void Pro headset that have had the 'quiet mic' issue for a while now. I was hesitant to get another Corsair headset due to the mic issues, but it seems like it's 50/50 on that no matter which brand you go with, so I pulled the trigger. First off, the whole reason I caved and got a new headset in the first place, is because my work headset completely died. I switched to the Voids as a backup, and realised that people were barely able to hear me (I work as an IT support specialst... so...that's not great). After I received these I immediately swapped them out and was very pleasantly surprised. The mic actually works the way it's supposed to. Initially testing with voice recorder played back nice, clean sound. After taking a few calls, I've noticed that I can speak casually again (no more borderline yelling at customers). One thing I will note about the mic, is that it does not have any sort of noise dampening. Not a problem for me, but if you have a slightly noisier home office, these might not work for you. Speaking of WFH, we use Cisco Jabber with Finesse to route calls. I was able to plug-and-play with no issues and no need to install I-Cue. Comfort-wise, these are actually more comfortable than the old pair. The band kind of threw me off, but after adjusting it, it fit perfectly (I have a big head AND wear glasses). Can barely tell I'm wearing them after about 5 minutes. The only gripes I have - I wish they had an in-line controller for the volume and mute (on ear is fine, and mic flip works well enough). I also noticed that the sound is not as punchy as the Voids, but then again, I haven't tested with ICue yet, so the custom EQs may change that. Overall, very happy with the headset, and even more excited that they worked out of the box with my work software.

Perfect for entry level
FOR THOSE WHO ARENT AUDIOPHILES OR EXPERTS -- READ THIS This headset is one of the best entry level gaming headsets i've purchased. They are made sturdy, adjustable, and without error. For those who are deciding between this headset and other prevalent devices, choose this one. Don't pay mind to nitpicky reviews unless you are sure you understand the humongous words and technical terms they use. Pros: - Made with metal, memory foam, and high quality materials - Bass drivers are at the perfect level of medium - Very loud, you won't need to max your volume manager out in order to hear - The microphone is the best headset microphone in my opinion, no pop filter necessary, clear and non-suppressed, as well as compatible with voice mod or third party software - The mute functions are spectacular, the software it comes with allows you to chose a mute key as well as the push up mic and mute button - Mic is perfect for mumblers, whisperers, and anyone who is shy Cons: - The highs are sharp, which causes audio to peak high - The mic is very firm and almost unable to be posed - The mic is surround based, meaning it tends to pick up outside noise—however you can use noise cancelling features from third party software and built in functions like Discord has - The headset is tight but has adjustable features like the headband - The earmuffs do not extend downwards or upwards but you can adjust the headband to elude to the same feature Happy purchasing!

Good headset
The Good : The mic quality is on par with standalone mics and even then its fantastic, if you're in the market for a good steamer headset this is the one. They are pretty comfortable once I got them adjusted right and very light on your head. Plenty of customization on the software to change colors and control EQ and they sound very clear. Overall quality Is solid, with no squeaks or creaks when messing with the headset The Bad : I'm personally not a fan of strap adjustment headphones for sizing as I have a big A head so I had to max out the strap to get it to fit me personally but otherwise pretty comfortable. Mine came only with cloth earmuffs everyone has their preference mine is leather but these are fine but can get a little itchy. , I wish the cable was braided to add some extra durability. You can tell they put more into the mic instead of the drivers for headphones, not to say they sound bad but when playing intensive games with a lot going on at the same time sometimes sounds can get muddled together and have less distinction from each other

Hot and heavy
Bought this to replace an ancient pair of Turtle beach headphones, and while they are good in some respects, I will be returning these. Pros: + Sensitive mic: for people who want to sound like they are NPR broadcasters + Good sound quality: I haven't gamed with them, but for chat and basic music, they were good. + Ear pads are very comfortable. All the weight is taken by the strap, so good for people whose ears tends to bother them + Flip to mute very convenient + Ear pieces block out a lot of noise: muffles neighbor's kids shrieking outside quite well Cons: - Sensitive mic: picks up everything, including button clicking and birds chirping outside - Plush ear pads are like ear muffs, and they get hot very quickly - Both the mute button and the flip-to-mute cause audible noise. If you want to be able to mute yourself without your listeners knowing, these are not for you. - Very heavy, not enough padding on the strap. These start to hurt the top of my head after only 15 minutes, and I find myself regularly adjusting them to relieve the pressure. - Ear pieces block out a lot of noise: including your own voice Deal-breaker: no side tone/mic monitoring. I've been using my old Turtle Beach headset so long, it never occurred to me that side tone is a rarity which blows my mind. Do you all just blather on, not aware of what's coming out of your mouth? Is everyone constantly shouting? I might have put up with the other complaints, but I can't stand not being able to hear myself. Tried a software fix, but it's way too laggy.

Very comfortable, Incredible sound quality
I am not an audiophobe, but the sound quality is great. The software you can immediately access is good, I put it on FPS boost and it's perfect for shooting games/driving games/watching youtube. No complaints whatsoever. The adjustment is different than I was used to, but very nice. Instead of the Earpiece legs extending, the comfort strap under the bridge shortens. I don't know if I can go back to the extendable ear pieces anymore.

do not expect these to last or function well out of the box
bought these november 2022, required third party software to sound decent, about 6 months in the earmuffs were torn and falling off and needed to be replaced, 8 months in the cord started falling apart and getting frayed despite taking care of them, and now 11 months in, being less than a year old, they have stopped functioning completely besides going on and off every few seconds and making buzzing noises while plugged in. complete and utter waste of a hundred bucks, either dont bother with these completely or possibly get the wireless version instead.... update: do NOT get the wireless version instead, was stupid enough to get them as a replacement february 2024 and there is a light on the microphone that is a blinding level of bright that cannot be turned off, and the microphone is so absurdly quiet that it might as well not function, i had to use a program to increase the volume by 400% before my voice was reasonable audible at all. the speaker and microphone quality are good with the aforementioned third party software (steelseries gg), but yeah these just require way too much extra nonsense to be worth it. as a side note, the wireless ones are WAY tighter than the wired ones and it is probably going to be a while before they stop hurting my head, and also do NOT download the icue software and do the firmware update, it will just break your headphones completely and i had to spend a bunch of extra time figuring out how to reinstall the older firmware the headphones came with, and the rgb settings dont save to the headset anyways so just do not put yourself through that if you get these. as much as i want to give this a one star review for how terrible these are out of box and with how my first wired pair practically destroyed itself on its own, ill be generous and give them a two for the level of quality you can technically achieve with the wireless ones using a bunch of third party fixes and such, despite how uncomfortable they are to wear with the clamping down on my ears and bright white led shining directly into my left eye, as well as how mind numbingly aggravating it is to get them to a decent quality after undoing all the damage the software you are meant to use with them will cause. EDIT: yeah im knocking this down to a one star review, had them for a week now and as some of the other reviews mention, the audio with the wireless ones will cut out frequently enough for it to be a major annoyance. really should have read the reviews first before getting these...

Great value
Great sound, very comfortable, better than the wireless version and very sturdy

Great quality headset, great value
I like it a lot though it feels slightly short in the sense that people with long heads may have their ears slightly sticking out even with the head strap adjusted fully slack.

great headphones
upgraded to these from turtle beach ones, the mic is great and they sound amazing. I play loud music and play games and it’s wonderful. i recommend.
