An introductory book about how cars work
A book explaining automobile parts and systems presented in a way that most people can understand. If you are curious about what systems and components are found in cars and trucks, this book, though basic, is informative. Happy with the purchase.

Cannot recommended. You would get more info reading wikipedia
Extremely basic information. Wikipedia and internet articles would have more detailed information. It would maybe be OK for a kid but then the language and wording used is awkward (English as Second Language?) and its layout is like notes taken during a class. It kind of feels like I was ripped off, like someone threw this together real quick to make a buck.

Great book for beginners!
I needed something to educate me a bit more on engine internals, this was perfect. A great book for learning engines, both gas and diesel. Highly recommended

It's just ok
This book is just ok. It correctly identifies many of the parts/components of an automobile and explains, with very little detail, what the parts do. But the problem with this little book is it looks like someone's class notes. That is they were sitting in automotive class, taking notes and decided to put them in book form and sell it on Amazon. There are some good clear pictures and diagrams but the info is very stripped down. Was it worth the price? yeah I suppose but I was hoping it would be for professionally written and put together. Can I recommend it? Only if you know absolutely nothing about automobiles.
