This stuff works so much better than regular metamucil brand !!!

I got this bc Walmart always seems to be out of their brand and I go through a lot of this as I give it to my horses to help prevent colic. (We live in an area with lots of sand and it helps in getting the sand out of their intestines) It just wasn’t as good as the Walmart Equate fiber brand but I’d rather give them this then nothing.

Had to send back because it was not sugar free

I had gotten used to Metamucil. It's more expensive but Metamucil (and perhaps other brands) dissolves completely and does not change the taste of the liquids. The Walgreens brand does not dissolve well at all, and most of it sinks to the bottom of the liquids I'm using and turns into a kind of sludge. I imagine it works, but it's not very palatable or easy to take down.

Have used for a year now and it works just like the name brand but is less expensive.
