A great game.
I bought this game as a Christmas present for my wife (she also bought one for me which went back to University with our daughter). It is relatively easy to learn and great fun to play. It is a little like Snakes and Ladders where the pieces are moved by a throw of the dice and you move up or down the board depending on whether you answer the questions correctly, incorrectly or get "claxoned". A battery powered claxon comes with the game and makes a fair bit of noise. Players take it in turns to ask the questions and the other players are given a choice of three possible answers. There are well over two thousand questions. We've played it five or six times and only one question has come up twice (when we asked an adjacent question.) An excellent game to play with friends and family and is suitable for most ages including children who show an interest in the world about them.

Great QI Game
This board game isn't exactly like the television program, but its still a fun game to play. The klaxon was great to hear, too!

Fun to play but could be improved
The QI Board Game is fun but the rules might be improved, for example by allowing any player other than just the following one to challenge an answer given by another player. The scoring system should also be improved by more rewards and penalties for correct or wrong answers. With the current rules there are insufficient incentives for interaction between players that is a large part of the enjoyment. It is also not clear who wins as according to the rules it does not seem to be the player who gets to an end space first. Another serious criticism is that there are insufficient questions since we found after only playing four rounds with four people that the same questions were being repeated. Supplementary question books are needed.Overall a fun game but could be improved.
