Great at Dehumidifying an entire floor
We have used this dehumidifier for a little over a year, and it removes two tanks a day from our lower level. Before adding it our humidity was regularly around 65% (as measured by our LED moisture sensor). Now it is around 50%. We do run it all day, but that is for an entire 1200 square-foot floor. I have not noticed any jump in my electric bill, so I assume it is pretty efficient. You can run it to a drain, but I just empty the tank in the morning, and again at night. We previously had a Honeywell dehumidifier that was recalled. This Kesnos model is as good or better, and a little quieter. It has all the bells and whistles to set it for a specific level. Because our area is so big, I set it 40% and let it run. If the tank fills, it shuts off automatically. It is on wheels, for those who need that feature. the cord is nice and long. Overall, this was a great purchase for our needs.

Terrible Manual. Tech Support Good.
Living by the ocean, we have a problem with humidity and mold. I considered getting a whole-house dehumidifier, but realized that with one or two units, we could control the humidity in our home reasonably well.So far it has worked well. I run it from midnight to 3 PM when our electric rates are lowest. I've measured an efficiency of .8 L/kWh, but results will vary with humidity and temperature. Here are a few issues that resulted in 4 stars instead of 5:1. The manual is horrendous. Mostly it's just funny non-native English, like this: "Do not insert thin rods and hard objects into the fuselage to avoid malfunction and danger," however, I wasted 30 minutes because of some poor instructions/labelling. Namely, it says, "In dehumidification mode (other modes are invalid), press the SETTING button, you can change the humidity selection in 5% increments," 52" will flash and show the setting humidity."I finally realized that this means "Press the SETTINGS button and the target humidity will change in 5% increments. Repeatedly press SETTINGS until the desired target is displayed."But once you figure out how to use it, the dehumidifier works well.2. The controls are not lit and are hard to see except in bright light (see image).3. The unit sometimes short cycles (goes on for only a few seconds to a minute), but this doesn't seem to affect the efficiency.

Good after sales service
My dehumidifier did not work. It was over a year and I am getting it replaced with a new one.

Customer service is trying to rectify the situation! Kudos for that.
Update to update. So far the replacement dehumidifier is working flawlessly. So I need to credit Kesnos's customer service for being dedicated to making sure their customers are satisfied. If you have problems, give customer service the opportunity to rectify the problem.I'm happy they worked so hard to make me happy.Good Job Kesnos!update*Kosnos customer service contacted me through e-mail to offer a partial refund or replace dehumidifier. Since I still hadn't purchased a replacement yet, I opted for the replacement. They followed through and I received the exact replacement machine today. So I will give Kosnos customer service credit for trying to satisfy the situation. We will see if the replacement lasts longer than the original one. This thing worked for exactly 3 months, Last summer, I stored it for the winter. Brought it out this month to use again. Now the digital display is messed up, can't read it, the fan runs but doesn't produce any water. So its just sitting there running and burning electricity and not producing 1 drop of humidity. Do yourself a favor, don't buy this crap!

Review after 2 years
EDIT:Shortly after leaving this review I was contacted by Kesnos customer service. They helped trouble shoot the problem and the machine could possibly be out of refrigerant. Since it is out of warranty they offered me a $50 refund. I was satisfied with that, as I can put that toward the refrigerant. I would advise anyone that has an issue with their machine to reach out to customer service first and let them know what the problem is. Their customer service is great and they’ll do their best to resolve the issue. They’re quick with correspondence, as well. Thanks Kesnos for the great customer service!!!I bought this 2 years ago. It worked great for about a year and a1/2 then all of the sudden it no longer collects water. For the price I paid for this thing, it should work longer than that.
