Q: will this fit a 2018 CX-5 and protect it from tree sap ?

I have a 2016 CX-5 and it fits very well. Not sure what the differences are in the two years, though. I have a problem with bee pollen and the cover is loose enough to catch the drops of pollen so that it isn’t near the surface of the car.

Q: does moisture collect under the cover on the vehicle surface. Is it waterproof?

I have mine in an open car port. It does not collect moisture under the cover. It is waterproof.
