Giles takes us on a journey with unbridled ambition in his vision to enable achiever-leaders to make their transformation-metamorphosis into regenerative leaders. He doesn’t stop at the visionary stage, and elegantly moves on to describe a pragmatic approach of how leaders can make this paradigm shifting jump across the chasm. This is best illustrated by the case study of the impressive regenerative transformation undergone by the footwear company Vivobarefoot. I am on the journey from achiever to regenerative leader and I found this book to be timely and invaluable to assist me with a developmental map. Giles Hutchins’ book will resonate for organisational leaders faced with the swirling unpredictabilities of today’s world. It is well worth purchasing and studying. It’s a book to savour and enjoy.

The book is clear and comprehensive and inspiring. I appreciated Giles sharing his coaching in nature immersion process. Any purpose-driven leaders wanting to deeply and authentically transform their company towards a regenerative purpose should read this book! Following Otto Scharmer “U” theory, Giles Hutchins guides us to build organization-as-living- system. Deep diving into the nature rules help increase our level of consciousness moving from a command and control mode to a sense-respond mode.The journey inward section gives some good practices to try and follow (like “letting go!”). The part that was specially useful is the case study of Vivobarefoot: this gave me great concrete tips that I have been able to successfully deploy within my company.

Giles provides an accessible, evocative and applicable read which I highly recommend to all who lead and consider themselves guides striving to cocreate a better world and a new future which honours all life. His writing spoke to me at a cellular level and invited me to continue to progress more boldly in my endeavours to become a regenerative being who is invited to lead.
