Too small. Size does matter. :)
The pack is very small in the inside. When I pack my son for camp it only fit 2 shorts, 2 swim trunks, socks, underwear, a towel and a pair of shoes. All of the camping gear went into a separate backpack. We will just use it for a day hike.
