Works great. Used for hip. 6ft 187lbs 35” waist. Attached securely. There was enough length as well as some stretch. Perfect under clothing. However, I think I was near its limit. The actual heating area was large enough. My only caveat is that it did not breathe well and though the material was somewhat absorbent, the heating area got sweaty and after a while itchy. Zero odor. Very much the ultimately portable heating pad. I imagine it would be super for the back.

Have used these for years for lower back discomfort due to a car accident over a decade ago. Keeps my back relaxed and supple. The heat lasts well over 8 hours. There are times I've kept one on for a full 24 hours.

It magically heats up to ease muscle pain. Works way better than lidocaine or menthol patches or nsaids. A few treatments with this improved my back pain greatly. It doesn't have glue/tape instead a built in large Velcro strap but it doesn't come large enough for me so had to find ways to extend it. Keep aloe vera gel handy in case you get carried away and use it too long.

I am a regular user of these pads. They generally work really well. The reason for only 4* is because sometimes they don’t release heat properly, which does not help much, if at all.

Effective, comfortable, lasts until bedtime. I have used this product for several years when I strain my back. The heat is moderate but effective in relieving the tightness which often causes further pain. It does not take up space like a true brace/support would and does not limit movement. It's made of a light but strong elastic material with Velcro-like attachment. It is unnoticeable while wearing. More heat is felt while sitting, but not to an uncomfortable extent. It is only a one-day use product and can be tossed in the trash once cool.

This was recommended by my PT. Haven’t tried it yet but I will be using it for travel so I like that it is light weight and easily packable in my hand luggage. This provides a way to relieve back pain without NSAID medications that could have side effects. Adding an update- the heat pack kept me pain free for a 6 hour plane journey and the warmth on my back was great. It worked well over a thin t shirt and saved any worry over too much heat directly on the skin. It retained the heat for 8 hours.

Highly recommend. These provided amazing relief from lower back pain due to recovering from major abdominal surgery. The L-XL sizing helped me make the adjustments I needed to make it as tight or lose as I wanted, depending on if I was laying down or sitting/standing up. Heat duration lasts longer than the 16 hours advertised, which I was impressed with. No off-putting scent. The material is soft and once in place is barely noticeable.

If you have occasional back pain, ThermaCare Heat Wraps are a great product to have available as needed. Stays hot for many hours, easy to apply and can be very helpful therapy for pain relief.
