No regrets
This was fun to make and a great first project. It's smaller than I'd imagined, but isn't it always 🙄. The instructions were easy to understand And i had plenty of materials to complete the project and even enough to make a simple lid for my basket as well. Though if I'd been more experienced i might have made the basket slightly bigger with the excess instead. The color of the smoked reed isn't as saturated as it is in the picture but it's still cute. At one point i realized that i could have bought a better basket for the same price it took to make this one. It's fine though. It's about the experience right?

poor quality reed and insufficient amount of materials.
the instructions with this kit were very good. unfortunately, the reed was very poor quality and there wasn't enough of it. I have been weaving for 30 years so I did not waste any materials or miscut any reed. fortunately I have enough materials of my own to fill in and make it work out.

Fun and useful kit!
Plenty of supplies. Good value. Lots of fun and a useful catch-all. I sprayed a walnut colored stain on the basket, which was a mistake as you no longer see the different shades of the reed. Oh well!
