Ok, maybe I'm too fussy, but when I put my 30 year old aluminum carburetor in the ultrasonic cleaner bath, I want it to come out bright, looking like aluminum, not like some dingy dirty color. As an ultrasonic newbie, I watched several YouTube reviews of cleaning solutions and tried some that were suggested as being cheap and not discoloring aluminum... Well, in my first try with a low-priced citrus based cleaning solution I turned the top of my carburetor from a dirty but bright object into a battleship grey ugly thing. So I went back to look online and found someone using this Ultrasonic Carburetor Cleaner product on their old carb and it turned out nice and bright. So I gave in and bought a gallon of this product. WOW it really worked!! The next parts I tried using this product all came out clean and bright!In the attached pics, the first pic shows the grey top of the carb and the second pic is the bright bottom of the carb. Unfortunately I tried the top first with the el cheapo citrus cleaner. Both cleaners worked but only one left the surface unchanged. This is a very good product.

Restoring a ‘74 Jensen Healey barn find that had been sitting for a few years. Dellorto’s were dirty and internal channels were badly varnished. Bought a 10l ultrasonic cleaner and the Northwest Enterprises parts and carb cleaner. 30 minutes in the bath, a thorough rinse and they were like new. Super low VOC, easy to cleanup. Highly recommended!

Customer brought me 2 Honda mowers that had been sitting for almost 5 years. The varnish in the carbs was really hard. It was everywhere. I took them apart and ran them through two 30 minute cycles, rinsed them and blew them off and reinstalled them. Both mowers started right up and ran perfectly. Very clean finished product work. I’m impressed.

I'm editing my review and changing from 3 to 4 stars. Just be super generous with your pour and it will get your board clean. It's not bad.OLD: I bought this in a pinch since Branson electronics cleaner seems impossible to find these days in personal use quantities. I use an ultrasonic cleaner to clean PCBs and other electronics repair tools (i.e. removing flux from tweezers). It's basically Simple Green but with a 100% markup. That said, be very generous with your pour and you'll get a good result. It removes a good amount of flux and grime, which is great, but it costs more than it should at this size.

I mixed it with 4 to 1 ratio in a 6L cleaner, ran it at 65c for 1 hour and the carburetor came out perfectly clean and all jets that were clogged are no longer clogged.

Thoroughly cleaned 1985 Audi quattro Warm Up Regulator. Cleared previously plugged fuel inlet and outlet ports. Highly recommended.

I’ve used my ultrasonic cleaner for many projects. This is the first time I did an auto parts clean. I was not impressed with the quality that this provided. I’m not sure if it was just the solution, but I’ve never had a problem with other products. Be wary I’m not sure, this product is that great I would not recommend it. It didn’t appear to do a great job.

Used for deep cleaning/rebuilding crusty diesel fuel injectors, and the parts came out looking brand new! Great stuff, and my go-to cleaner from now on!
