Tea Kettle for Stovetop, Food Grade Stainless Steel Water Kettle, Tea Pot for Home & Kitchen, 3.1 Quart

We've had this 3.1 Quart Whistling Tea Kettle for a month now. It is used every morning and we have no complaints whatsoever. The water boils pretty quickly and it whistles very LOUDLY when it's ready. The handle does not get hot , the flip mechanism for pouring works perfectly, and there are no signs of rust anywhere. It does what a tea kettle is supposed to do, does it well, and looks good doing it. :) I empty it after every use, leave the whistler lid open and the kettle lid tilted (so it can dry), and give it a good washing inside and out at least twice a week.

The link between the whistle and the lever that pulls it open is very thin and delicate. Indeed, my unit arrived (after numerous delays) with this link broken. Not wanting to wait several more weeks for an exchange, I decided to repair it. Not only is the link thin, it is saturated with mold release which inhibits epoxy hardening. The solution is to set the parts using Krazy Glue. Then, using a new tube of 5 Minutes Epoxy, I built the link and let it sit or an overnight. It is holding beautifully. Having said all that, this katrle is a beautiful piece of art. It is built to very high standards of quality and finish. It is almost too beautiful to be used. Yes, it is ugly in its own way, but perfect in execution. I am proud to own such a beautiful piece of art, even if it is only for a short time.

The tea pot arrived and there is a dent in the side. Decided to try it and the whistle was not out at all. I am trying one more time and will update if the whistle improves. Does pour well and I didn’t get any hot steam on me. It’s a nice thickness and appears to be a good quality, looks nice in my kitchen. I just need no dent and the whistle to be loud enough to hear. ** after allowing the tea pot to sit a bit longer on the stove the whistle is plenty loud - I just didn’t give it enough time.

A lightweight kettle, stylish, easy to clean and fill, and heats quickly. The lid must be snapped in place tightly or it won’t whistle. Boiling temp is reached quickly. I recommend this tea kettle.

This is a well designed stovetop kettle that performs exactly as expected while also looking nice on the stove. The stainless steel construction feels solid and durable, and the overall build quality is better than many inexpensive kettles I’ve tried in the past. I also appreciate the 3.1-quart capacity, which is large enough to prepare multiple cups of tea or hot water at once, making it practical for families or anyone who drinks tea or coffee regularly. The design itself is fairly modern and clean, so it doesn’t look out of place sitting on the stovetop. The reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that while the kettle works well overall, it’s still a fairly straightforward product. It does what it’s supposed to do, but the materials and finishing feel closer to mid-range rather than premium. That said, for the price point it still represents good value. Overall, this is a functional, attractive stovetop kettle that boils water efficiently and is easy to use. If you’re looking for a reliable kettle without spending a lot, this one is a solid option.

Kettle is made great. Love the color and style. Handle doesn’t get hot, heats water fast. Great value for the price. Would buy again.

Nice kettle, works quite nicely....and what wonderful whistle!! Important to remember that it won't whistle until it is fully ready .... it starts very subtlety....and in a few moments it will enhance and enhance until it is a mighty whistle. Very handy, effective handle, no concerns about burns, over all a good product!!

It's a beautiful kettle. I like that you can lift and drop the nozzle cover very easily. However, I have never seen a stovetop kettle (I only use stovetop, not electric) to have what looks like a spray painted coating, or non-stick matt coating inside, rather than being very shiny as I am used to. I am worried if I should be drinking water from this as I've never seen this before and don't know if it should be there. I thought my water tasted slightly off, despite washing, boiling, and pouring out a few times first. I would appreciate more information please.

I am enjoying this beautiful Blue Tea Kettle Stovetop Whistling Teapot. It's a 3.1 Quart Kettle which is the perfect size for Tea or just boiling water for anything. I appreciate the Food Grade Steel, makes great tea and is easy to clean after use. The picture, showing the inside, has shadows from lighting; the inside is even colored and of great quality. The Heat Proof Ergonomic handle does the job, never gets hot. Grab the handle, press de button to open the spout cover and pour. What a beautiful blue; it's such a great addition to my kitchen decor, while having a purpose. Love the LuxGrade crest at the front. You will appreciate the whistling feature, it avoids the kettle to steam dry while your busy doing something else. Make sure to close the cover completely, press a little. If not closed completely it lets air and steam out and prevents it from whistling. When I first used it I did not close it completely and it was not whistling when water was boiling. Noticed, pressed on the cover and the kettle happily whistled and has been whistling every time.

While I'm not familiar with the brand, the kettle is good quality. The whistle sounds a bit off though.
