SveicoSlotted Fish Spatula

I originally found this spatula at WS and have had it for at least 10 years. It is still going strong but recently noticed a small crack in the wood handle around the rivets. I decided to purchase another one because I use it just about everyday and absolutely love it!! WS doesn't seem to sell this anymore, so I was ecstatic to find it on Amazon! Don't put this (or anything with a wood handle) in the dishwasher... or allow the wood handle to become submerged in water or you will surely shorten the lifespan of this gorgeous, quality spatula! I use this for everything, grilled cheese, fish, browning hamburg for spaghetti sauce or tacos etc. (it is great for breaking apart hamburg). This spatula feels very nice in the hand. It looks delicate but it is actually very sturdy. I purchased mine from the seller: Kaspien and I know it's the real deal and trust the seller. This would also make a great gift, it's gorgeous. My husband purchased one of these literally 10 years ago and it was finally starting to show its age. Got a new one but seems like the exact same as the s. Use it all the time for meat, fish, pancake, bacon...whatever! This is a great quality item that will last a LONG time!

I didn’t think I could love a spatula this much. Not only is it beautiful, it’s strong and durable as well. I’ve had my previous one for over 10 years and just love it. The weight of the handle, the gorgeous wood, and the simplicity of the metal spatula is amazing. You gotta get one!!

This was bought to replace one from a Sveico set I have had over 37 years. I was willing to pay the high price, believing it would be of the same excellent quality as the original, However, it is much thinner than the original and nowhere near the quality of the original Sveico products. If this is a genuine Sveico product, and not a counterfeit, the quality has deteriorated greatly from those made by the original Swedish family owned company which was undergone ownership changes over the last few years. The quality is no better than much less expensive Chinese imports. Save your money you can get better quality for less than half the price.

I had seen this slotted spatula on cooking shows, and bought one on Amazon. It works very well when frying small items, for instance, falafel. Then I bought one more! With one in each hand, it is very easy flip items without splashing oil, and I feel I have much more control when frying. Less painful oil spatters on my hands! I am glad I have this new implement added to my kitchen!

We had one of these for about 25 years and used it every day. When the handle broke we were lost. We would use the spatula without the handle. So when I found the same brand we ordered it and have been very happy. Good quality kitchen utensil.

works great so far. I used it on the bar-b-que the other night to cook Darado fish steaks and really liked the way it works.
