A true 5 star review. I'm always looking for affordable bar soap, without harsh chemicals, that also gives me incredibly soft skin. This fits that bill to a T. I have really sensitive skin and there's no irritation. It also smells really fresh and lathers well. So far the bar is lasting too. I think I'll stick with these from now on.

This is a good soap to use if looking for natural and protection for your skin . Can even be used as a shampoo with good lather being created. Making hair feel soft and clean. The soap improves most skin issues like seborrhea and comes in multiple scents and freshness made wholesome. A very good value for your money.

I'd give this soap 10 stars if I could. One I have medicine induced dryness that's hard to maintain even with high end Dr. Recommended lotions. This soap is so rich. It literally cured the dryness to the point I barely need lotion. Plus it's the only fragrance soap that doesn't agravate an eczema scar I have on one of my arms. It smells amazing. It exfoliates without needing to use a nothing but a washcloth. Strong yet gentle. This is one of the best natural soaps I've ever used. I can only imagine the tallow version must be even better? Price is a little high, but it's worth it. If you follow the soap use instructions? It becomes a better value. Don't just keep water running on it. Conserve this soap.

I was worried about the soap having a fragrance but my skin didn’t react to it so that is a HUGE plus. The soap lathers well and the texture is abrasive but gentle but extremely moisturizing and overall the bar size is quite large so for $19 for 5 bars i would say makes this a deal. I will definitely buy again once i run out but i don’t think that will be anytime this year.

Let me begin by saying that I am a VERY, VERY picky customer when it comes to soaps and have been trying to find a product that meets the high standards that I want in a bar soap. This one does, and it does it very well. I used Dial glycerin soap in the past and have been looking for a good bar soap since that company stopped selling it. Sadly, the other types glycerin soaps just do not lather the way that the Dial brand did. The various other soap brands that I have tried left so much residue behind that I felt dirty even after a shower despite rinsing off very thoroughly. It was so gross, I cannot stand scummy feeling soap!!! I did a lot of research and trial and error. I finally ended up trying soaps that were recommended for hard water. The Amish Farms Bar Soap was among those listed for that. I was a bit leery to pay $21 for only 6 bars of soap, but the bars are very generously sized and when my order arrived I understood that it was actually a very good value. The soap could easily be cut in half and made into 12 decent sized bars if you would like to do that. They are very basic looking bars and looked like they were going to be just a cheap run-of-the-mill kind of soap. the texture of the dry bars is kind of waxy and chalky. It seemed very underwhelming... but happily it's really not. :) The first time I used the soap I washed my face first. It had a beautiful frothy lather. It felt silky and spread nicely over my skin with no grittiness at all. When I rinsed my face it felt like the soap was not coming off at first. I rinsed and rinsed and started groaning inside, thinking that this must be the grossest, slimy, soap scum that I had ever come across until it dawned on me that the slick feeling was not the soap! My skin was so clean and moisturized that the soft feeling was not soap residue, it was my skin! Even after drying off my skin felt almost alien to me because I have never, ever had that kind of experience. It was so fresh from using those natural ingredients and not all dried out or heavy feeling from being covered in chemicals. It felt like I had bathed and used a moisturizing lotion that had been absorbed into my skin. There was absolutely no stickiness and was so soft and I couldn't stop stroking it because it felt so nice! The other bonus to this is that my skin continued to have that wonderful feeling all day. I t didn't dry out and go away. I have tried expensive beauty bars and they did not come close to this. I was a bit concerned that since it was such a soft, gentle feeling soap that it would not be effective for washing off my cosmetics, but so far it has done a great job and I have not had any issues. I can honestly and strenuously recommend this soap. I love everything about it and will not be using any other brand from now on. My search is over and I am pleasantly surprised that it exceeded my impossible standards. The only negative thing that I can think to say is that it just smells like soap. It isn't a bad smell, but not pleasant either. Just smells like a slightly strong and basic soap. (They do offer a scent and dye free version.) It doesn't bother me because the scent is not overpowering and does not linger after you rinse... If you are looking for aroma therapy in your bath you can always add a couple drops of your favorite essential oil into the bath water or to make DIY (or purchase) shower steamers/melts. It is simple and easy to find directions for online. The surface area of the bars do get a bit soft after you use it, the manufacturers do instruct that you should let it air dry thoroughly between uses. So far, by following those directions, the bar is holding up and lasting as long as any other bar soap that I have used in the past. I did include some photos so that you can see how generous the size of these bars are compared to a regular one.

This is a good product. The bars last a long time. I tried washing my hair, but wasn't really satisfied with the result. It's ok skin soap for normal, no problem skin. It might be a little too drying for sensitive skin types.

Excellent value! Very good lather and clean hydrated skin after use. I love the scent, very “clean” and similar to the classic dove bar scent. I have one bar in my bathroom and can literally smell it from the hallway when walking by. Highly recommended, these are very long lasting high quality soap bars and better in every way than any big brand bar soap.
