I ordered the 2mm, 20” cord. However, when I put it on, it was definitely too long. When I tried to unclasp the cord, it was really hard to do. After finally getting the cord off, I measured it and found it was actually 21”. So, I plan to return this one and order an 18” cord hoping it is actually 19”. The 2mm cord is also very slim so I'll try the 3mm size. I will also probably order the 3mm rather than the 2mm cord.And here is the reply from the seller:Yes, we originally followed the standard size, but I don't know why many buyers feedback that it's too short, so we made the actual size 1 inch bigger. The 3MM is also the same 1 inch bigger, 3MM is suitable for men to carry. Tip: If you want the rope to soften quickly, you can soak it in water for about ten minutes and then take it out. thank you for your purchase.So, I purchased the 3mm 18” option and it is 19” long which works for me. The clasp on this one is also much easier to open, but also stays closed until I choose to open it. I also like that I can wear it all the time including when I'm in the pool or shower. It is very sturdy and comfortable to wear.

i waited a couple months to write this review so I could see how well the necklace cord held up after weeks of constant wear. I bought mine to hold a little pendant someone gifted me; it might be the Buddha on there, but it could just as easily be some guy who delivers mail in Sri Lanka. Either way, it's a cool little pendant and I wanted to put it on something that would hold it securely.This cord works perfectly for that. When it first arrived, it seemed a little stiff and "plastic-y," but even then it *looked* like high quality leather. After a few days it lost most of that stiffness and began feeling more like a genuine leather cord. The only real noticeable difference? This on -- unlike leather -- is waterproof and most everything else-proof as well. After two months, I can't see any signs of wear. And I even sleep/shower/swim with the thing on.I'm guessing that *eventually* it'll wear out and I'll have to replace it. But based on the wear so far, that could be a year or two, or maybe more, away. Finally, the packaging is great and the little starfish mentioned by others is a nice touch. Also, the clasp is pure genius! Very sturdy and secure, but at the same time small and unobtrusive. It really is a nice bit of engineering.Overall, this is a great product for the money.

I use these with so many pendants. The clasp is a neat design and I even though I thought I would need help with it, it clicks in nicely without catching my hair. It's hard to explain unless you enlarge the photo of the clasp. The clasp design is neat because it is the same thickness as the necklace. Not like a clasp piece (a jump ring) that is too large for your pendant to slide onto the necklace chain. The quality is great and they have been sweated on, worn in the rain and in the high heat without any issues. Highly recommended.

But it's NOT! It's a fancy name for fake leather, Leather Silk is the term, now is it soft? YES. Is it well made? YES. Do I like it? YES.Ordered the 30" as the 28" is good and I can somewhat easily put it over my 24" head, but ordered the 30" as I expect a bit longer by 2" and hang a bit lower.The clasp is not easy to undo and that's good. I only wished that it was 100% real Leather but it feels good and looks very good not just yet sure how long it will wear?So far I could not find a better Leather like or "Silk Like" necklace here on Amazon.

I've been on the lookout for a necklace for a long time. As a male, I've had trouble finding something subtle yet durable that doesn't shine so people can see me from the next street. So you understand why I really like this necklace; I used a long hair elastic double folded over my neck. It would be a pain to take it out so I showered and play sports with it. The pain of cleaning was considersble.I found this item after some research and thought to give it a try. Here are the basic points:• The length is just about right, for the given size you ordered (depending on your neck width)• The touch is smooth but sturdy, it is NOT stiff or clumpy (think like just leather)• It dries at a good pace (does NOT stay wet for long, think 30 min at crazy maximum, and if it does, you don't feel it).• I got the turning clamp option, which works really well. Has not come undone despite playing soccer three times a week for the past month or so.• It came on a nicer box, could be better but I was expecting to come on a plastic wrapping, so that was a nice surprise. Is not terrible in case you are thinking about sending as a gift.Overall it's a great product. Here my only draw back:It's expensive for what it is. It cost $10 or so. It's a simple necklace that does it's job. I dare not say how much it costs to labor and put something like this together, plus the profit, but I wouldn't think more than $5-6 tops. Don't take my comment for granted, there are many things we tend to overpay for the convenience. I'm glad I found it and I would buy it again (so far).At the end of the day I really got what I wanted and I pay $10 for it. I'm happy I get to wear my feather around (see photo).

This is the 3mm 18” cord and is nice and sturdy. There are so many cheap cords out there that break easily. This one I’m not worried about at all. It looks a little short in the picture because of the way the pendent sits, I had to put a knot in it. This is a good buy!
