Lol, Will get you laid is the general consensus of this fragrance in an article in an online magazine review of men’s fragrances by a large group of women. I was looking for a new cologne and that part of the article made me laugh but it was one of the higher rated scents and I tested a few of them locally and I thought this one smelled best to me. Clean not to musky, unique scent for a man, I would say it has aspects of an Armani Code Black or Ralph Lauren Blue type scent, but definitely a richer more layered scent that’s gives you a different fragrance profile at different times. I even thought I caught a old school Joop hint in there a couple times. As a married man I have to say my wife’s opinion on my scent of choice is important (mandatory if I’m not kidding myself) and she likes it and says it smells awesome but no tearing off of the clothes or anything out of the ordinary, lol. I do get lots of compliments on it. As for whether it will drastically change your love life? I will leave that up to you single guys to figure out, as for me smelling nice is enough. It is long lasting and a little goes a long way. I definitely recommend it.Now I will try to help those who are concerned about paying good money and ending up with a fake. Amazon themselves has to much to lose and would never sell you anything but the original, they have nothing to gain and everything to lose by doing that. They spend millions combating fakes and have built up to big of a business to hurt it themselves. So buy from them and you will not have problems. Now about people claiming fragrances on here don’t smell the same as what they had before and smell a strong alcohol smell. In most cases I have read they are saying that about an aftershave spray or cologne which are around 1-3% fragrance for aftershave and around 5% fragrance for cologne. If they had the Eau de toilet or Eau de parfume version of the same scent they are around 10% fragrance for Eau de toilet and 15%+ for Eau de parfume. So there is more alcohol base in the versions of a scent with less fragrance in it and less scent to mask it. These scents are super powerful and the difference between 5 and 15% is drastic. That is why sprays are weaker as you are putting more on at a time and Eau de Parfume is lightly dabbed on your wrist and neck where blood vessels are close to the skin surface and warm. I hope this helps because I know it can be confusing and I remember when I thought a scent was a scent. It also explains pricing irregularities as the more the percentage of fragrance the more the price per given size. So my only advice is buy it when Amazon is the seller and shipper and check the version of the scent you are getting, most sell in several. Thank you for reading

If your new to this scent, get the sample first. I'm more of a fresh scent type of guy and this one struck me as "spicy". It may take another time or three for me to warm up to it, but initially it's not very high on my list.

Scent does not last long

I have been using JPG for a couple of decades now. Nothing else come close. I get many compliments using this cologne. A little goes a long way.

In my opinion, this was not a genuine Jean Paul Gaultier - Le Male, Eau de Toilette.I generally only wear this fragrance. This bottle was in date, but the fragrance does not last on my body as long as the genuine version does. The bottle is also poorly painted, and has a more white stripe that a genuine bottle.Amazon bought bottle on the left - Store bought on the right.

PERFECT! Absolutely the genuine JPG Le Male edt (as far as I can tell). This fragrance lasts and lasts...I accidentally sprayed some on my dressing-gown cuff as I tested it on my wrist, and I could still smell the scent over 6 days later!! So, it certainly has longevity folks. I bought the original JPG Le Male edt from a famous perfume department store way way back, when it was first released, and this product is without any doubt, the same scent! The bottle, the tin (no dents or scratches), and the packaging are perfect (the tin itself is properly cellophane wrapped)...everything about this product is exactly as it should be.Some Amazon Reviewers have questioned the “lack of a bottle atomiser cap...” thus questioning whether this is the genuine gear. But, just for the sake of clarity, the genuine JPG Le Male edt does not have a bottle cap...it has a tinyring-pull which sits just below the atomiser button; you pull the ring off, which allows you to depress the atomiser button, and spray away! This product also has the ring-pull (and no bottle cap...just like the original, and genuine JPG). Pop the ring-pull back in-place under the atomiser button once you have had a ‘squirt’ or two, thus preventing any unwanted ‘squirts’.So, what you folks need to know when purchasing fragrances from online providers is...is this stuff the genuine thing...am I right? Well, I can tell you honestly that (in my opinion), this particular Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male edt IS ABSOLUTELY THE GENUINE FRAGRANCE. It has the same gorgeous scent, which lasts and lasts...it cost around £60.00, which is probably a little cheaper than buying from a department store. So, based upon my experience with this particular Amazon Seller, I would absolutely advise you to buy with the utmost confidence :o) Also, I just wanted to mention that I signed-up to Amazon Prime over the Christmas period, and everything that I have purchased via Amazon Prime, has been delivered extremely promptly...oftentimes arriving on the SAME DAY (when ordered early in the morning)!!! For a couple of quid each month, the Amazon Prime scheme is absolutely AMAZING....5 stars for this seller, and another 5 stars for Amazon Prime ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The opening is very sweet with a nice dominating pear, complemented by lavender and a small amount of mint which becomes more prominent as the pear dies down. The heart of the fragrance is where the spice comes in with a great cinnamon scent dominating. On the base I get a great mix of vanilla and amber that seems to be lasting a very long time on my skin.The presentation of this EDT was different to any other fragrance that I had previously purchased. The bottle came sealed inside a large tin cylinder, pop off the bottom of the tin and these sits the male torso shaped bottle held tightly in place on the inside surface, very well presented.- Longevity: 7-12 hours- Sillage: Strong- Wearability: Autumn, Winter, Spring- Versatility: Clubbing, Nights out. Possibly office & social events if you hold back on sprays.

I had this a week and used it a few times at most and in that time the dispenser top stoped working. I put that down to back luck and rather than request a replacement, decided to buy a refillable aftershave bottle and fix it myself. BIG MISTAKE ... it wasn't hard but I then realised that the quality of the EDT was poor and that's keeping it clean. The strength didn't last long on myself. I tried it on cloths and on fragrance testing strips and the result were ___ poor! the leason I learnt here was, next time take the refund

This is like the male equivalent of the famous female fragrance 'Samsara' by Guerlain. It has a very distinctive smell which turns heads. Everyone is always asking me what I'm wearing. This has to be a classic men's fragrance. The smell lasts fairly longer than other fragrances, and the value for money is pretty good. Well done JPG!
