Quality and Conviece without the KCup Guilt
I want to give it 10 stars! Iโve only had it 5 days and Iโm in love! Never going back to a regular coffee pot or wasteful Kuerig, that doesnโt even make good quality coffee. Many positive things about the Nespresso; 1) nice and sleek design looks great on the countertop 2) used pods fall automatically into a container when you open it to insert a new pod, this is especially great since my husband would just leave the used KCups on the countertop cuz walking over to the garbage can is just too much effort in the morning ;) 3) great tasting coffee and espresso for $1.10 per cup 4) they recycle the aluminum pods and the coffee grounds get turned into compost, no guilt like with the Kuerig! 5) quick and convenient Some things to note; you can only get the approved recycling bags if you order your coffee from Nespresso, but they are free of charge and are prelabled so you donโt pay for shipping them back. Even though I โค๏ธ Amazon, I recommend ordering your pods directly through Nespresso for that reason as well as they are actually 10ยข per pod cheaper and do offer free shipping with orders over $50, which is only 5 sleeves of coffee. To address some of the other reviewers issues with the coffee not being hot enough, I think thatโs just personal preference, I hate burn your toungue scalding coffee. I want it to be hot but ready to drink, I donโt want to have to wait for it to cool as I do with Starbucks. And you can always put it in the microwave or a travel cup to keep it hot longer. Another issue I saw from previous reviewers is that the Aeroccino milk frother doesnโt do a good job. I did some research on that since I initially had the same problem. Fresh cold milk is key, and higher fat content will froth better. Donโt fill the frother past the little โglobeโ part of the whisking mechanism, see pics. When I made these adjustments the milk frothed perfectly. I also tried almond and coconut milk and both will froth just fine. And lastly the only slightly negative is that it is louder than I expected, but only for a few seconds at the end of brewing while the centrifuge is working. I very highly recommend the Nespresso, I chose this model over the newer one since it was lower in price (at least in some colors) and there didnโt seem to be any difference in technology only in the exterior appearance of it. I also didnโt care that the newer one has a water container that swivels so it can be placed next to or behind the machine. Etremly happy with my purchase! ๐

Exactly as advertised--great!
I have been using the Nespresso Veruo Evoluo coffee maker everyday at work for about 2 months now. It is perfect for me in my office because it doesn't take up a lot of room and the fact that it is ready to go in 10-15 seconds is amazing. The coffee is great and I have had no issues. I am still trying out all the varieties they have and haven't found one yet that I dislike, just different ones for different occasions. The machine works great and the only complaint which isn't much of a complaint, just something to be aware of, is that the water dispenser doesn't have a way of telling you its too low, you just have to look. The frother is a snap to use and although I don't use it very often, that is by choice and not due to any difficulty. I particularly like the ability of this machine to brew different sizes and although Nespresso are known for the espresso, I mainly use it for the Lungo and Alto sizes. As a system, the only other caveat to a machine like this is the need for the proprietary pods. They are recyclable which is nice but have to get them from Nespresso online. At 1.10 per pod for most of the Lungo (7 oz I believe) it isn't the cheapest option but it is an excellent one. We have a Starbucks in the hospital where I work and it is obviously much cheaper than that. Not as inexpensive as a Keurig and the like (which I have had in my office) but for the improved quality of coffee, an easy choice now. One of the best purchases I have made and if you like good quality coffee, fast, and cheaper than a Starbucks or Dunkin' then I recommend this. At least I won't be going back to anything else.

Brings the coffee house coffees, into your home!!!!
I had been putting off purchasing this machine due to some reviews stating that the coffee was not hot enough. It turns out that most of those reviews were for the original models. The new Vertuoline machines seem to brew a slightly hotter cup than the original. Granted it is not so hot as to scald you but who drinks coffee that hot? When I received the machine I was first very impressed with how it was packaged. After unpacking it I was delighted to see that it came with a box of 12 capsules, 9 coffee and 3 espresso. All of various flavors and intensities, it also explained what made up each flavor and used a 1 to 11 number system to tell you how strong the blend was, 1 being the weakest and 11 the strongest. The bundle also came with a fabulous milk frothier. The initial setup is very easy to follow, it tells you how to do a first time use cleaning and how to brew your first cup of coffee. I prefer more of a latte when drinking my coffee so that gave me a chance to try out the milk frothier that came with the machine. First after inserting the coffee pod and starting the brewing process I was delighted to see how the coffee and foam actually separated just as seen in the videos on the website. It only took about 45 seconds to brew the coffee and the frothier took almost exactly the same amount of time to heat and froth the milk. Thus if you drink a latte coffee start them both at the same time to get the hottest coffee possible. For a latte I recommend using at least a 16oz cup or mug so both the coffee and milk will fit. I tried various flavors and intensities both with and without milk. Once I smelled the aroma, saw and then tasted various blends I was hooked!!!! The quality of these coffees are as good as it gets when home brewing. I have since retired my previous machine and will never be satisfied with anything less than my new Nespresso machine and coffees. If you truly love coffee house coffee then why not make them yourself at home. Save time and money!!!! Once you try this machine I am sure you will love it just as I do!!!!

Great Nespresso, Expensive Pods
I love my Nespresso Vertuo, but the pods are expensive. I really like the convenience of putting a pod in and getting espresso, but trying to make espresso drinks with this machine was not cost effective for me. I use 4 shots in a 24 oz (venti) sized iced coffee drink. Each 1 shot pod is ~$1. The doubles work too, but no decaf double shots. That was the other problem. i mostly drink decaf and there are few options for decaf... But the coffee that this Nespresso produces tastes really great and has great crema on it. I really like the decaf pods and the seasonal peppermint pinwheel. The milk frother is great. It froths hot or cold. Beware- it will overflow if filled above the line or close to the line.

Great Design - Better Quality
Wow - this machine is truly a revelation. I have used a keurig for years which made meh but serviceable coffee and was hnot attractive and a little flimsy, but was good enough, but I never expected it would make great coffee - to me it was just an easy and cheap morning caffeine delivery system which was all I wanted. I decided to splurge on the Nespesso because the design looked cool and it seemed to have better build quality - friends told me the coffee was better, but I did not expect much. I had never been an espresso drinker (it always rated like bitter coffee that had been burnt) and never understood what the fuss was - it seemed a pretentious affectation. Oh my god - this coffee was incredible, not merely better - but the depth of flavor, crema and overall quality was such a different experience and I finally understood why people where passionate about coffee. Comparing Keurig to Nesprrsso makes no sense, they simply are not the same thing. Keurig is like a Ford Focus and Nespresso is a BMW - the Focus gets the job done reliably and that is what it is intended to be, Nesprrsso is an experience. I also finally get espresso, when it is well made it is wonderful. Oh yeah, the milk frother is great (especially like that it froths almond milk, others do not and that it warms the milk) but I find I do not use it often because it hides the taste of the coffee. Not for Keurig Lovers
If you like really hot coffee made in a Keurig where boiling water is forced through a plastic pod or made in a Mr. Coffee pot where boiling water is dripped over pre-ground coffee out of a bag and then left to sit on a hot pad until you get around to pouring a cup, this machine and the cost of the coffee pods is not for you. If you drink your coffee out of a paper cup or insulated mug while driving to work, Nespresso is probably not worth your time. If, on the other hand, you enjoy relaxing and savoring a cup of really good coffee, this is the one you should consider. The Nespresso machine is designed to make a precisely brewed cup of coffee not to produce a boiling hot cup of Joe. Each Nespresso pod has a bar code that tells the machine exactly how to custom brew that particular coffee. It knows how fast to spin the extractor, the correct temperature, and the amount of water to use. So, if you use a room temperature cup the coffee might end up a little cooler than you are used to drinking. I just put a little water in my cup and microwave it for a minute to preheat, and then I dump the hot water and brew my Nespresso. That way the cup doesn't cool off my coffee. I bought the De'Longhi ENV135BAE Coffee and Espresso Machine Bundle with Aeroccino Milk Frother. The milk frother is a great addition and much less expensive when bought with the machine. It is simple to use and clean, and it quickly produces a nice froth. IMHO well worth the price. The machine comes with an assortment of twelve pods of different coffee flavors, intensities, and sizes. So far I have tried half of them and have yet to zero in on one favorite. They are all good in their own way. You won't find the pods in your grocery store. You will have to order online, but they are available from Amazon and Nespresso and at the same price with free shipping. Pods come in sleeves of ten, and you will probably find it most convenient to order forty or fifty at a time. So, if you object to spending $50 or more at a time for coffee, don't invest in a Nespresso. If you like gourmet coffee with crema, Nespresso will take your enjoyment of coffee brewed at home to a whole new level. The machine is a lot less expensive and easier to use than purchasing your own traditional espresso machine, and in my opinion, the coffee drinks produced are on a par with what I have had in Italy where they take their coffee really serious. The machine came quickly, and the setup instructions were easy to follow. One of the Amazon reviewers had posted a picture of a hairline crack in the bottom of their water tank. As a result, I took a close look and found a similar very small crack in my tank. I called the 24-7 Nespresso help line, and since my machine was only two days old, they are shipping me a no cost replacement. It was shipped within two hours of my call. If you buy a machine check it carefully as anything considered normal wear and tear is not covered by the warranty. Operation of the machine is really easy. You press the button and wait fifteen seconds for the machine to preheat and the button to stop flashing. While that is occurring you fill the water container with fresh tap water and put your cup in place (I recommend preheating the cup). You then turn the knob to open the machine and you put in a pod. You then close the machine and turn the handle to lock it closed. Finally, you repress the button, and the machine will do its thing. After brewing is complete, you reopen the machine, and it ejects the spent pod into the side container. The container holds over a dozen spent pods. So, you don't have to touch the spent pods after each cup of coffee. If you order your coffee from Nespresso they will send you a free package for free UPS shipping of the spent pods for recycling. Since the pods are made out of aluminum, they are not biodegradable, and Nestle is providing a no-cost way to recycle (if you so desire).

Excellent machine, but received with dents on the pods container.
I am very satisfied and super happy with my Nespresso Vertuo. The only thing that I did not like was that I received it with dents on the front and side of the pods container. ๐Graphite metal is a nice color! The shape, for me, is better than the nespresso vertuo by breville. I love the smell, taste, and texture of the espresso/coffee. Feels like in a coffee shop. โฅ๏ธ The water tank has great capacity and itโs lid can easily be opened so you could refill it either directly with the container attached to the machine or by detaching it. The machine is fast and easy to use. The size is okay. The espresso/coffeeโs temperature is not that hot just like what others said on their reviews. I tried otherโs suggestion to pre-heat the glass. I actually wanted to buy the Evoluo bec it has the same specs with the vertuo except that the Evoluo has the โimprovedโ temperature, however, I could not find a discounted price. Buuuut no regrets!!! The Nespresso Vertuo by De Longhi is pretty and it makes a great coffee/espresso. I still need to figure out whatโs wrong with my aeroccino3 milk frother bec 2 out of 3 times that I used it since I received it the other day, the milk overflowed. I used a good milk with less than the maximum level and with correct tools. It produced a nice froth tho. Overall, the Nespresso Vertuo by De Longhi is a great buy! Highly recommended.

DELICIOUS COFFEE
Love it! Works so well. The coffee is sooo delicious. Itโs creamy, frothy, and smooth like velvet. Great strong flavor. I really look forward to my coffee each day. The frother (the Aeroccino) is very quiet, and is so nice for hot steamed milk or half n half! Easy to use and clean...itโs great to have good quality coffee and with steamed milk & foam right at home. While I noticed in some of the reviews complaints about how noisy the Nespresso Vertuo machine is (and it is true, itโs loud), this doesnโt bother me, personally, in the least. After going thru THREE Keurig machines (I seem to have nothing but problems with those even when theyโre still relatively new), I read reviews and researched before deciding on the Nespresso Vertuo - the Aeroccino paired with it sealed my decision - it is โthe icing on the cakeโ. I am very, very happy so far with both my Nespresso Vertuo and Aeroccino machine. I have had the machines for a full month - and they are used multiple times a day every single day, so...so far so good. Long may it last. At the same time I ordered the machines, I ordered a variety pack of Nespresso capsules thru Amazon. We liked them all! I have already reordered (directly from Nespresso) more capsules...and my concern about not being able to buy coffee capsules in the market or at Samโs Club (as I could coffee pods for Keurig machines) was removed by how easily I could reorder and how quickly Nespresso shipped my order. Nespresso also provides a recycle bag with postage already paid for shipping used coffee capsules back to them. That is a win-win for me! I highly recommend these for real coffee lovers like me & my family are.

I am Nespresso OBSESSED!!!!
Amazing. Hands down THE BEST coffee maker I have ever owned! It's like having a fancy coffee shop in my kitchen. The milk steamer is an amazing bonus and I love the convenience of ordering the coffee pods online. Also love that these pods can be recycled. As a coffee lover this was an excellent purchase and worth every penny :)

Leaking
I loved my Nespresso at the beginning but now, not so sure. There is a water leak underneath the machine. At first, I thought it was a one-off, but now it seems to leak regularly. I cannot seem to be able to return it so I am in a conundrum. What to do with a leaky Nespresso?
