Soul of Chogokin : GX-42 Koutetsushin Jeeg

Definitely the best Jeeg toy ever! Using magnetic joints, Bandai is able to replicate the robot's gimmick from the show. It also comes with a huge Jeeg Bazooka and Mach Drill.

Nicely painted, the legs are too weak.

He's a great looking figure, of an unusual Jeeg variant. But this is by far the weakest offering of the Bandai high end Soul of Chogokin line. The problem is the magnetic joints. They can't support the weight of the figure. In fact they barely hold together. Now this is an issue with most Jeegs. Because the character and TV show were designed to pimp the magnetic jointed toys the magnets play a role in most Jeeg toys. As a result most of them can be very loose rag dolls who stand poorly. But this guy is worse. I mean the arms fall off too easily.He can be a fun figure if gotten at a good price. It thankfully comes with a display stand. This is the ONLY SOC that needs its stand in order to stand on display. Bandai just announced a new Kotetsu Jeeg will be coming in their Super Robot Chogokin line. I would suggest that Jeeg fans wait and see how that turns out before throwing money at this guy. At this stage he is for SOC completion it's only. And even then get the most obscure and pointless of the Mazingers Angels first.

it looking more than great. whit all it accessory and the stand that came whit it . yes it will look awesome if its a little bigger but that not mean its doesn't wort it.

股関節の可動範囲が狭く、股を閉じることが出来ません。これが最大かつ唯一の問題点。　昔出てたタカラのマグネモジーグも持っているので、並べて眺めては楽しんでいます。

デザイン・カラーなどはカッコいいのですが、マグネット式の関節が緩すぎる！特に下半身が酷く（足首は最低）、立位すら難しい…。よくこれで販売できたなぁ…。まぁ、ジーグが好きだから我慢して飾ってます…。
