Logitech Wii Vantage USB Microphone

I got the mic but i haven't tried it on any game yet but for those who say that the mic says KONAMI in the front is doesn't matter if you connect it to a PC it will say LOGITECH MICROPHONE so don't worry about it. I'm gonna refresh this review when i test it out later. UPDATE: Works with any game that needs an USB mic tried it on the Wii and i was amazed that i could plug it in the ps3 and use it in Call of Duty MW3 works in PC as well for skype and all.

I had to purchase this microphone because the game I purchased required it (which by the way ~ on-line order information did NOT say it was required, and this was on a different site, NOT Amazon). However, we love the microphones! I purchased two so we could sing in duet, and we think they work excellently.

This is not the microphone I received. I would not have ordered this had I known it was going to be Konami brand. So, I guess my rating is actually for the Konami mic. It does work with Rock Band and Guitar Hero. Your voice does register with the game and seems to work for points, but in order to actually hear the sound your mouth has to be almost touching the mic.

This microphone is great. It works well and have used it many times. It has a long enough cord so that you can move around the room if you are rocking out.I have used it with Rock Band as well as Guitar Hero.

After ordering the mic I read some of the reviews and was disappointed to see the logo Konami on the mic that I received. However, I researched on internet, this is the mic that Logitech makes. It is just a name for it, not a completely different brand. So before anyone returns this mic, just check what it says on the middle part of the cable of the microphone. It says Logitech. So it is original Logitech mic. No need to worry about it. As far as it working, just tested it: works great. If it doesn't last long for any reason I will update this review, but to me it will be ok if it lasts for a year, having in mind we will use it only once in a while.

I have no idea about this product because although I payed for it, and ordered with plenty of time for Xmas I never received it. The only computer generated mail I received from this so called company was "sorry this time of the year packages get lost". Darned how stupid of me to buy something online that needed to be shipped. And her all the time I thought that that was th whole idea behind online sellers. Reliable shipping and product as advertised. Do not buy anything from this company they do not deserve to be on Amazon. They left me out in the cold with a present because I made the mistake of trusting them. In all the years of online shopping I never had that happen. Also I never had any of the packages I mailed to anyone. Specially when you are charged over U$D 7 to do so. Interestimgly this company's website did not allow for tracking your package nor gave a delivery window until today, atwhich time it was a day too late. Don't honor them with your business, they do not know how to do it nor how to treat a customer.

I bought this for my daughter and we love it. We also got the High School Music singalong and we play with it often. When her friends comes over they sing, my daughter sings, and I even enjoy singing along with it. So far we have had no problems with it. I chose this one because it was the one that came with the singalong games and I didn't want my daughter to be disappointed if it didn't work like I read in some of the other reviews of the other microphones. It works well with our Wii; it has a long enough cord for moving around. Got it from Amazon and as always it came when promised.

I ordered this microphone so my daughter could sing along with Taylor Swift on Band Hero. All the packaging and the invoice said it was a Logitech microphone, but the mic itself says Konami. It's definitely not the world's best microphone. My daughter has to hold it very close to her mouth and sing pretty loudly to be heard, even after adjusting the mic levels on the game. I didn't want to spend a whole lot on a mic, because I didn't know if my daughter would like the game, and I got what I paid for. My six-year-old isn't bothered by the mic's poor performance, but it drives me crazy. We will definitely be upgrading at some point.
