Yes, but it overlaps a little bit and the legs do need screwed on, but don't secure easy. As a hamster rescue, I should tell you you would be best of with the rectangle platform to hold the wheel. You can also use the top of the niteangel hideouts as well. Dwarf hamsters should have a 10in wheel, and syrians should have a 12in to 13in wheel to prevent spinal damage :)

Would this be suitable for wheels of a different brand?

Only if the base is similar to Niteangel otherwise it won’t fit.

Where are the "extending stilts" that it shows in description? I havn't found any by themselves for this stand.

I bought some 11" x 1.25" dowels and a 12 mm drill bit and made my own. I wanted a lot of space under the wheel in case my hamster decided he was going to live under it again after adding more bedding depth to my Vista. Luckily he moved into his 6 room large hideout instead. I used the original legs from the stand to increase the height under the hideout-just needed some dowel pins to connect...

Is this sealed and waterproof?

No, it's not. You can seal it yourself though. Hamster Hideout forum has good suggestions for this. Though it's usually covered in bedding. I haven't had a hamster pee on it yet, and I have 4 hamsters.
