Elrigs 10-Inch LED Motion Sensor Ceiling/Wall Light, Motion Sensitivity, Time and Twilight Setting Adjustable,12W (100W Equivalent), Warm White (3000K)

Very pleased with operation in a workshop I go in & out of with my hands full. Sensitivity and turn-off delay time adjustments are both very appropriate; I set for full brightness and did not switch with any wall switch or dimmer. However, I added a cord and plugged-into a ceiling outlet because it had no on-board on/off switch to make it possible to see the adjustment screws in the face of the lights in order to adjust (with the light on, eyes cannot look at the board let alone see the adjustment screws in the bright glare). This unit was designed to flush-mount on a surface with three screws on a circle far wider than a (USA) standard electrical box and no such box-mating holes are provided (and cannot be drilled) so I would suggest those two design improvements to the Elrigs engineers: 1) add a hole pair for USA box screw pair to hang it, and 2) add an on-board kill-button for ease of adjustment. With these provided, I would buy another unit to put in my kitchen where I originally intended to put the one I now like in my workshop instead.

We installed this in our screened porch. Good brightness, appears to be at least as bright as 2x 60-watt bulbs (totally subjective guess). The sensor has three adjustments - light level (how dark it gets before the light works), sensor range and duration (how long it stays on after the sensor detects motion). Sensor range appears to be angular range (field of view), not distance or size of target. So it will respond if our cat walks directly beneath it, even at the lower setting. Still, the cat seems to be the only thing that causes a "false positive" trigger, and it reliably detects humans.

At first, it worked as advertised, but after a few days I noticed the light stayed on all of the time. I reduced the sensitivity, and from there it seemed to become more inconsistent with turning on and off properly as I adjusted the sensitivity.I like the product features, especially illuminating as you walk near the door on the other side, but I can't deal with the problem of the device either being on most of the time (beyond the 5 mins max that it says), or not coming on even when you walk under it. Going to try it for another day or so making adjustments and see what happens, unless someone can offer a suggestion to get it to work properly.

Just be careful where you place it. Works well for garage not so well if you have animals it will go on and off all the time.

Have had this unit in the laundry room for six months and have been trying to set it up for that long. Cat will turn it on from 10' away but you have to swing your arms in the sky when entering the room to get it to come on. Save your money. Tried every adjustment in small increments at a time and can not find it's "happy place".

This fixture was a total piece of junk!Pros: It was very bright, a good light for a closetCons: the motion sensor is terrible. This light would randomly turn on and off even in a closet with closed doors. It would turn on when someone would walk down the hallway that is completely out of sight from the closet it was installed in. I had to remove this and install a better fixture. I would not recommend this to anyone

Nice bright light. Too bad it doesn’t see anyone coming up the walk. Only turns on when we open the door. Going to try turning the light around. The directions for install are terrible.

Ich kann meinem Vorredner "Markus" nur zustimmen. Die Leuchte lässt sich einfach montieren und durch die Empfindlichkeitseinstellung und die Dämmerungsempfindlichkeitseinstellung super konfigurieren. Ich habe sie draußen im Vorbau vor der Haustür montiert, zuerst brannte die Leuchte sogar, wenn man sich der Haustür von innen näherte. Das ließ sich problemlos regeln.

Montage und Einstellung ist Kinderleicht. Man braucht nur etwas Geduld, um die optimalen Empfindichkeitswerte zu finden. Sehr helle Lampe, haben diese im Flur montiert, der Bewegungsmelder reagiert schnell und zuverlässig. Wenn die Lampe an und aus geht, geschieht das lautlos, das finde ich super! Da Preis/Leistungsverhältnis top ist, gibt es 5 Sterne.

Die Deckenleuchte lässt sich einfach anbauen. Alle Sensoren sind ausreichend genau einstellbar. Ist einfach eine saubere Sache. Eingebaut in einer Toilette. Man muß nicht mit feuchten Hände einen Lichtschalter berühren.Leicht zu Montieren. Jeder der die Lampe sieht möchte die auch Kaufen!

Habe mittlerweile zwei davon im Einsatz, einmal im Wohnungs-Flur und nun auch im Keller-Flur. Dort funktionieren sie wirklich gut und es gibt eigentlich gar nichts auszusetzen, denn mit den drei Einstellungsmöglichkeiten kann man die Lampe schon ganz gut an seine Bedürfnisse anpassen. Nun gut, der Brenndauer-Regler ist zwar nicht linear (es gibt bestimmte Abstufungen), aber man findet schon seine gewünschte Einstellung.Aber Vorsicht: Wer vor hat, mehrere von den Lampen im gleichen Schaltkreis zu benutzen, könnte (ich betone könnte!) Probleme bekommen. Für das Treppenhaus hatte ich drei von denen installiert (auf verschiedenen Ebenen) und funktioniert haben sie irgendwie überhaupt nicht. Meine Befürchtung war eher, dass das Licht von einer Lampe den Helligkeitssensor der anderen Lampe beeinflusst es es somit der zweiten Lampe "zu hell" sein wird um bei Bewegung dann zu leuchten. Das trat allerdings nicht ein - mit ein bisschen Rumspielen an den Reglern klappt das einwandfrei. Aber die Lampen gingen oft überhaupt nicht oder sehr sporadisch an, trotz klarer Bewegungen darunter. Ich denke eben, dass das damit zusammenhängt, dass sich die Lampen im gleichen Schaltkreis befunden haben. Habe die drei wieder zurückgeschickt und nun bleibt es bei den anderen zwei in den jeweiligen Fluren.Noch etwas: Der Bewegungssensor unserer Lampe im Flur 1. Stock reagiert sogar auf Bewegungen im Flur vom Erdgeschoss. Das ging uns nach einiger Zeit auf den Keks, sodass wir die Empfindlichkeit ziemlich reduzieren mussten. Mit der jetzigen Einstellungen klappts aber ganz gut.Vor der Wiederbeschaffung habe ich mich nochmal mit Konkurrenzprodukten auseinandergesetzt und muss sagen, dass der Elrigs so ziemlich der beste zu sein scheint - für diesen Preis wohlgemerkt. Außer den oben erwähnten "Aussetzern" gibt es sonst keinerlei Macken wie Geräusche beim Anschalten oder dass das Licht aus- und wieder angeht, wenn ständige Bewegungen darunter stattfindet - was andere eben zu haben scheinen. Deswegen kann man hier meiner Meinung nach getrost zuschlagen.

Ich habe die Lampe im Keller angebracht, damit ich dort nicht erst nach einem Lichtschalter tasten muß, wenn ich mit vollgepackten Händen hinuntergehe. Die Empfindlichkeit des Bewegungssensors ließ sich feinfühlig so einstellen, daß das Licht angeht, sobald ich in der Tür stehe, oder, wenn ich wollte, daß sie schon eine Sekunde vorher angeht. Der Helligkeitssensor läßt sich ebenfalls gut einstellen, so daß die Lampe z.B. nicht angeht, wenn schon eine andere Lampe im Raum brennt.
