I got this mug to replace a thick ceramic mug I had for years that finally broke. The uniqueness of pattern design is what first made me attracted to this mug along with its large size. When it arrived, I loved the color but was a little worried about how sturdy it would be since it was thinner than my old one. After using it a few times, I was convinced it would be perfect. Though thinner and lighter, it is high quality dense ceramic. It heats great in the microwave. Definitely worth the money.

I bought this jumbo coffee mug being attracted to its pleasing color pattern of pale yellow and pink.After using it several times, I found the handle too large in circumference for my size 7 woman's hand to have a steady, firm grip when it is heavily filled with hot liquid, thus making its use precarious.The handle needs to be thicker and smaller to accommodate the average size 7 woman's hand.This mug is better suited to someone with a size 8+ hand.The manufacturer could improve this mug's usable stability by adding a thumb rest "pillow"/rest at the top of the handle. I have used several mugs with this feature and was amazed how a thumb rest could improve stability by compensating for poor balance in the uneven ratio of the handle to cup body.
