1. Nicely designed, simple and sturdy! The material grips any surface and you don't have to worry about it moving around. The design is also sleek and fits nicely on top of my baby's dresser. 2. The smart scale is game changing. I had encountered so many feeding issues with my first baby that I knew I needed a scale at home with the second. I can't tell you how exhausting and stressful it was to go to the hospital every 2 days to check my baby's weight and ensure he was getting enough milk. The scale and app work flawlessly and are pretty easy to use. 3. It's a changing pad too so one less bulky item to keep around! Very easy to clean which is a plus when you have a new born for sure. I highly recommend this product, especially for new moms. It will bring you so much reassurance and take the guessing out of a stressful situation!

I am a first time mama! Before my little girl was born I was obsessed with preparing for her arrival with the best, most innovative products. Once she was born, I found that some products were unnecessary. But that was not the case with the smart changing table pad! It is truly innovative! The scale connects to an multi-purpose app that is both user-friendly and visually appealing. I love the convenient dual function that it provides as it combines two products in one; Both a diaper changing necessity and health monitoring tool! The size is nice as it will suit her even as she grows and will fit on top of any standard changing table. The scale was so helpful during the early weeks of breastfeeding with my little one. I was able to monitor how much breastmilk she was drinking by weighing her before and after a feed. It is so absolutely relieving to make sure she was getting the food she needs! This is a product that provides what you pay for and will get plenty of use! The scale works great and the app is extremely useful for tracking all sorts of growth and feeding metrics. The padding fairly firm and lightly pebbled. Our little one had a blowout and it took me probably 5 minutes of scrubbing HARD with a magic eraser to get it off. For that reason, we now leave a folded receiving blanket on the scale at all times. The mounts that hold the rubber padded feet are made of very delicate plastic. If you move the scale across a counter or surface, you have to LIFT and PlACE it to avoid breaking them. When one of the feet broke on our scale, we reached out to Hatch via chat and they offered to replace it totally free and had us simply discard the broken unit. When the replacement arrived, it also had a broken foot. We contacted them again via chat and they again sent out a replacement. We had to update the scale's firmware through the app but once we did that, we're up and running again. We were so pleasantly surprised with their customer service and cannot recommend them highly enough.

My baby was having a lot of stomach problems which led to issues gaining weight. By his 1 month check-up, he had dropped from 89% percentile to 14%. I bought this scale to help track his weight and his milk intake, since he is breastfed and I can't see how much he's eating. The scale looks great, is super comfortable and very easy to clean. However, the pros end there. I've found it to be wildly inaccurate sometimes. I moved it over an inch on my changing table and it gave me a difference in weight of 5 oz! That's a lot! Now I kind of never trust the weight it gives me, which is a big deal when I'm trying to track the weight of an underweight baby. The most annoying thing though is sometimes I start a feed, but when I open the app to finish a feed, I get a pop-up that an error has occurred and now my pre-feed weight has been lost. There's no way to get it back and now my baby has already finished his meal! It leaves me completely in the dark about how much he's eaten. Again, maybe not such a big deal for the average user, but we are tracking every single oz he takes to make sure he gains appropriately. This scale has literally one job, and it doesn't do it very well. For the price, it should be accurate and reliable. I could have bought a scale at a fraction of the price and just did the math myself

I purchased this thinking I would be using it to weigh baby before/after breastfeeding. Unfortunately, my breastfeeding journey was cut short due to supply issues. BUT I still use the scale feature all the time. It's really nice to know how much she's weighing, the app is also super handy in keeping track of all sorts of things. It is a little more expensive, but for us totally worth it. I will say the pad is made of some sort of plastic, so it's a hard surface, baby doesn't seem to mind as long as she's not on there for a long time. It's super easy to clean, but we still put a pad down to make cleaning it even easier.

I have had it for 5 months now as I write this review and it works great for us. I was basically exclusively breastfeeding and it gave me comfort as a first time mom knowing my baby was gaining weight in the early months! It cleans off nicely and I don't have any complaints. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a fancy changing pad!

I bought this Hatch Baby Grow online from Amazon. Now having an issue and cant connect to use the scale. The main reason I bought it. Hatch will not cover the issue because there is no warranty on the unit because its purchased off Amazon. Not an authorized seller. What a waste of money. Thanks!
