LOVE THIS YARN
I love love love this yarn. I am so sad that Joann’s went out of business because I always bought this from them. Found it online and immediately had to buy it. It feels like butter when crocheting with it. It’s not too bulky and not too thin. It’s literally perfect for blankets, sweaters, or amigurumi like me! Gorgeous colors and the great thing about bernat yarn is that it doesn’t shed!!

Lusciously soft, cozy and warm—gorgeous colors!
Lusciously soft, this velvet yarn was purchased to make some Christmas gifts. The color choices are gorgeous, and the Indigo Velvet color was true to the pictures. I had absolutely no knots or joins in either of the huge, generous skeins—each was one continuous strand. I had no shedding either, except a very tiny bit when I had to frog the same section several times (I was taking care of sick kids and kept miscounting stitches). Just to note, I found I could use a smaller hook than the yarn called for as it is so fluffy but not dense. I think 5.5 is what I ended up liking. My daughter found that this yarn doesn't make great pompoms due to being so slippery, but other than that small detail, it was absolutely a delight to crochet with, and I'm already looking for an excuse to buy more in other colors!

My absolute favorite yarn
This velvet yarn is absolutely my favorite to use. Since JoAnn’s closed there is no place to purchase but here now. Much more expensive here, but I can’t get it anywhere else. I love the luxurious feel of this yarn. I made myself a blanket using it & fell in love. The colors are rich & vibrant, it is so incredibly soft, & absolutely beautiful.

Really beautiful velvet Smokey blue yarn
This was my first purchase of velvet yarn. This “Smokey blue” color yarn made a beautiful moon pillow and it was soft and nice to work with crochet. I would definitely purchase this again.

Bernat Velvet, extra soft and comfy!
So far I really like all the different Bernal velvet yarns. This is the first time I have work with this one and it works up very nicely. This is for a gift and I am sure the person will like how soft and cuddly it is.

The softness yet has weight to it
Love this yarn. So soft yet has some weight. I've made 80 throws blankets, for family and friends. They all love this throw. I used to get this yarn at Joann Fabric. So it was a thrill to find Amazon carry it you have to try this yarn. abric
