Used with Samsung S24 Ultra in Tactical Manly Man (very manly) big chungus case. I was reluctantly persuaded to upgrade to one of these modern mobile phones, I'm not into modern things but I appreciate it when something is well designed and genuinely makes your life better. As my old phone cradle no longer fitted my new oversized chunk of modern tech, I was forced to get this new item... and, this is one of those things that despite being essentially, a humble phone cradle, makes your life better. First things first. The sucker is one of these new gel type affairs that not only "glues itself" temporarily to your glass, but has a lever which increases the suction force (it also comes with a vent clamp). Next, the arm is substantial and very adjustable. Not only is the S24 heavy, but the very manly man (did I mention, it was manly?) tactical case adds weight and size to the whole affair. The arm doesn't move, even over bumpy tracks and the clamp fits well around the case. Now, I've saved the best bits for last... The clamp. It's motorised!!! You place your phone (in it's manly case) in the cradle and not only does it charge wirelessly, the clamp automatically grips your phone in a loving yet firm caress!!! The fit is fantastic!! With a press of the well located buttons, your phone is released from it's temporary home, back into your loving hand. It's a really good bit of kit. For something as simple as a phone cradle, it exceeds expectations and does it despite asking a bit too much of it, really. Well worth the money.

Reveiwed after 8 months use. Still working and best car holder I have purchased Opens and closed automaticaly when phone detcted. When not used for a while, you do have to use release button to activate unit but love this phone holder. Thought it stopped working yesturday but turned out to be charger failure.

It supports fast wireless charging for s24 and 16 pro max which means it can support all others as well. Build is decent but the locking mechanism is annoying. The clamp sometimes closes and sometimes it does not.

Very easy to install and the suction cup is very solid, the holder never falls off on bump roads like other ones do. It charges the phone quickly and it’s easy to put your phone in place because of the electric grips - they really make it less fiddly. After months of use it still feels as robust as when I bought it and is not showing signs of wobbling. Very good.

The arm and sucker mount work very well with a good adhesion to the window. My biggest problem is that the self adjusting powered mounting unit won’t close down tightly enough to hold my phone so it just falls out of the securely mounted holder and I could get it adjust to hold my phone. So as a holder a failure. It so didn’t work for me as a charger because it requires a modern high current usb c socket. In a modern car you probably have one but I only have usb A so I needed a utility socket usb c adaptor which is not included. I haven’t sent it back because I have been able to mount my old charger (with it’s spring loaded clamp) on the excellent sucker - bracket bit of an expensive solution I wouldn’t recommend to anyone else unless your phone fits and you have a c port.

Compare to rubbish I had from china this one works. One thing I don’t like is reaction time. After power supply ON (ignition or ACC) I need to wait minimum 3 seconds before I can place phone into holder and wait another 3 seconds for it to lock itself. I know it’s sound silly but working as a delivery driver it’s matter. Every time coming back to car it takes around 10 seconds to have phone in holder charging. It’s faster with cable plugging. The worse is when it doesn’t catch up a phone, than it’s not close itself and falling off when car moving. I would say not fit for purpose or not good for delivery driving.

I've tried multiple car phone mounts over the years, with and without wireless charging and automatic gripping. My first mount that gripped automatically had a button I had to press the phone against to activate. It worked okay, but was inconsistent with charging and finicky. It only lasted about 5 months before I had to get a new one. The next one used a light sensor to close the arms. That was the worst design. The sensor would activate falsely quite often when not in use, then it stopped charging half the time, so I would have to plug in my phone directly. The mount had some battery power to let me use it unplugged a couple times, but after that I'd have to switch the cord back from my phone to the mount again to get it to open. Then the retraction stopped working, and I had to close it by force. Overall it only lasted 6 months before I was ready to buy a new one, which is how I found this mount by CHGeek. I needed a mount that wouldn't break down in six months, would activate reliably, and charges consistently. After the issues with the previous mount's light sensor, I was concerned that this CHGeek mount would have similar troubles, especially since I wasn't clear on how it activates. However, it seemed to be the best option, so I crossed my fingers and tried it out. I've now had this charging mount for over a year and a half, and it's still going strong. It's easily my favorite mount, because it is super simple to use, and works reliably. The way it activates is geniusly simple – when the phone is set inside, the arms close as soon as the wireless charging kicks in, which is immediate. It charges quickly, and if someone else is driving who has a phone without wireless charging, the mount still works perfectly fine just by pressing the side button. The closing mechanism hasn't worn out, and the mount itself is sleek. It holds onto the dashboard quite well also. Although it can loosen occasionally, it's a quick fix. The rotating/tilting mechanism holds securely. The only negative thing I can really say about it is that the black finish on mine soon turned to a bronzy color on the metallic portions under UV exposure. Unexpected, but I don't think it looks bad. I often do deliveries and may use a company vehicle, or if that's not available, get reimbursed for using my vehicle. When I use my vehicle, I have no hassle getting in and out of my car with my phone and always have a full battery despite constantly using my phone for dispatching and GPS.

This charger is not fast charger as claimed and worst part is that it over heats the mobile and can cause more damage to phone.

Will not change my cell phone but if fits good in my truck for holding my cell phone for Google maps

I yes this product as mobile stand but the charging is also good
