This is a good book. I just need to learn how to knit well enough to use it. :-)

I am a fairly new knitter. This is easy to get. The longer pattern might need reviewed row by row.

This is a really useful book. I've tried many of the stitches, and while not all are "easy," the directions are clear. I've found a few new favorites that are worth the cost of the book by themselves.

A good selection of pattern stitches. The choices go beyond the simple stitches that beginners usually get.

Nice challenge if you love knitting

Now I can make that blanket while learning new stitches! Exactly the project I've been looking for...

Really enjoyed reading through this book. I haven't knitted any of the squares yet but it is well written and easy to follow so I know I will use this book many times in the future to add pattern to a plain garment or to make cushion covers, blankets etc, so thank you for the book Tara & I will definitely look for other books written by this author.

This book is not for absolute beginners as it requires crochet. as well as basic knitting, you also need to know basic crochet. The other thing I don't like is that the squares they give you to try, they don't have the name of the pattern you are doing. The only one I found I could possibly do is number 15. if you want a basic knitting book I suggest the one by Kristen McDonnell. It has 50 knit and purl patterns, are easy to follow and it tells you what pattern you are doing. This book by Tara Collins I definitely DO NOT recommend unless you can crochet as well as knit and can follow patterns.

Really liked this, the tips on how to finish off the squares was educational. Its the difference between a home-made knitted item to a more professional finish. So pleased I found this little booklet - down loaded a kindle version.

Knitting squares is a nice pass time in between other projects, the book have some nice patterns which are quite easy to follow,will alsomake a nice blanket, not done any of the projects yet only knitting squares would recommend this book to beginners and experienceknitters alike.

Value of this is awesome! Advice given is very very very clear and for someone as myself, is understandable. I do NOT regret purchasing this informative book. I have made 3 squares and I keep looking at them, so beautiful. It is a great gift of a Teacher who can convey to their pupils the subject they are trying to teach. Miss Tara Cousins has done that for me. Thanks Amazon for stocking this Book.
