Large Stainless Steel Restaurant & Hotel Quality Round Soup Spoons, Large Soup Spoons, Set of 10

OK, confession. I like big silverware. I like silverware that you can grip and feels substantial in your hand. Our daily stainless is ample. Our silver is too small for me. We set a formal table every night, more often than not with music and candles. A perfectly paired bottle of wine, of course. So any silverware we set has can't look out of place next to our Mikasa daily dinnerware. I think these soup spoons are well made and certainly attractive. Our daily stainless is bright like these. These spoons fill all those bills for me. Last night we served an amazing vegetarian chili to nine. Only my wife deferred to our regular soup spoon. That is the nice thing about buying a set like this. It gives the guests and host choices. We didn't throw out our other spoons when we got these. I wouldn't set this spoon at the bowl of a small child, unless they asked for it. So it gives us choices. My wife is a true gourmet cook. I will predict one thing she will begin using one of these spoons for. With the long handle and large bowl, I predict this will become her favorite spoon to taste sauces and soups while cooking. These are larger than restaurant soup spoons. These can be used as a soup spoon or serving spoon. They have a little larger bowl and a longer handle. We've used them both ways and love them. They are sturdy and solid yet feel comfortable in hand. If you are looking for a soup spoon only, then you might want something a little smaller. For our needs, these work great.
