Easy to use with lots of features for the price

Great product and very easy to use! We have a Mini and had replaced the battery through AAA, nobody there understood what we meant when we told them that mini batteries needed to be registered, and our mechanic just said that the battery was faulty because it was showing an overcharge from the alternator, without even hearing our explanation. We got the scanner, registered the battery and now everything is working fine. Keeping it to register future oil changes and to keep up with whatever comes up! Great product for its value!

I can see the problem before go to mechanical. It can check BMW and good price.

This works great. We had an older BMW scan tool but this time around my son’s BMW X2’s battery decided to give up the ghost and caused the car to enter into reduced power mode. I found an affordable replacement AGM battery which BMW not only makes you remove the air box, tower struts, and several engine compartment panels but they also require you to register a new battery to the cars’ control module so as to tell the car to properly charge the battery accordingly. We also found out the it wouldn’t exit low power mode even with a new battery and driving the car in limp mode to the dealership was not going to happen. Bough the Ancel BM500 and registered the battery and the car went back to normal mode. Great choice and probably paid for itself several times over today.

Just reads codes. Does not regenerate 6.7 liter Cummins motor like it states. Spent way too much aggravating time trying to get it to work. Product does not live up to expectations and is being returned
