Almost the perfect book.
I'll start by saying this book is amazing, honestly. It feels great in your hands, is so pleasing to flip through, and is just a feast for the eyes. From the colors on the pages to the photos to just the aesthetics of the page layout, this book absolutely nails it. It makes me want to just randomly pick it up and flip through it over and over, and every time you'll find a great nugget of wisdom from an inspiring figure. That's where this book really shines. It's filled to the brim with positive psychology, techniques for improving your mental game, or overcoming weaknesses. There's only one small issue I have with it, and depending on the person or how you read this book, it may not be a problem at all, in which case this is 5 stars. For me, it's the grammar. Now, I read the book beginning to end initially, and when I get into the flow of the book and encounter a sentence that doesn't fully make sense because something is missing, it tends to jolt me out of the experience until I figure out what the author was trying to say. I am by no means a grammar-nazi, and if you bought the book to flip through it every so often, this probably won't bother you at all. I added a pic as an example. A few of these in a book I totally understand; no book is perfect. But here you'll encounter them regularly. But don't let this deter you from getting this gem! Just something to keep in mind. This book applies to so much more than just climbing. You can basically replace "climbing" with whatever your field or sport/hobby of choice is, and learn a lot. Highly recommended, and I feel not enough people know about or talk about this book.

An ordinary book by extraordinary people
Names of climbers are great, but all they say is STAY POSITIVE, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF and ENJOY CLIMBING. There are some inspiring comments among them, but they are repetitive and get boring at the end. Maybe good for young competition climbers.

Love it
I love this book, inside it says that every page is 'total eye candy' and that's very much what it is. It's inspirational and thought provoking, I'm not even a climber but after reading this I want to be!
