The media could not be loaded.  The solar light is subtle and quite beautiful in the evening. I took a video although were in the middle of the 4th of July celebrations in the back ground. (We do celebrations days early and days after in our state). I wanted to show how the tree lights up just slightly with the house area really the highlight. I am very impressed with the resin quality, the paint and the overall effect of the solar light. It looks great in day and night. I am so pleased.

I have bought several pieces from this collection. They are fragile, one broke when blown over, and one did not light up. Despite this, I really like the appearance of these pieces. This particular one did light up as it was supposed to, and we had some complements from the neighbors. They are fashioned from plaster of Paris. I intend to get a few more of the set. They are sent well-packed in styrofoam, so it pays to keep the packing for a day to be sure the lighting works the 2nd night. It takes one day of sunshine for the solar lighting to work.

I purchased this VP Home Pinecone Solar Fairy House to go with a similar solar fairy house I purchased from Amazon last month, a VP Home Leaf Solar Fairy House. The both have cute mushroom stairs and multiple levels. I was happily surprised with the size of these fairy houses, which were much larger than I expected (especially for the price). I paid $21.99 plus tax for this fairy house. I see this house has gone up by $1 to $22.99 now, but it is still a good deal. The leaf roofed version of the same size was $29.99. Usually fairy houses of this size are more in the $40-$50 range.The best part about this fairy house are the cute, orange mushroom stairs and the flame shaped orange mushrooms on the roof. They really stand out and give it a sense of whimsy. Everything is well painted, and it has lots of nice details on the front. There's not much on the back/sides, but you may not see that much anyway depending on how you position it. I used the Kyrlon UV clear spray on it to try to help preserve the beautiful colors on this fairy house. I hope to get many years of enjoyment from it. Thank you!!!

I was a little disappointed with this gnome house at night because the glow is so faint. I was hoping the face would stand out more. Still cute and I kept it anyway. I like it during the day too.

I bought 3 or 4 little fairy houses for a garden display. I really like this one. Unfortunately, the light worked for about 2 weeks and then stopped. I tried inserting a regular battery, and it lit up fine, so the problem is lack of power -- either the Ni-MH rechargeable battery won't hold a charge or there's something wrong with the solar cell/charger. (But you can't leave a regular battery in a rechargeable device, so I confirmed the cause, but that doesn't fix the problem.)

Sent this to my grandkids who are starting a fairy garden. They love it and the light inside.

está hermosa la figura, lástima que no funciona la lámpara con energía solar, solo funcionó la primer nochenúnca mas se volvió a encender, si te gusta cómprarla por la figura se ve linda en el día pero si esperas utilizarla como lámpara no te la recomiendo, estarás desilusionado.
