These bulbs are perfect for my Sputnik chandelier. They are 7 watts each, but with ten arms, 70 watts is enough for my 12x14 dining room. It’s bright enough for task lighting while still being soft enough for ambiance.They can be dimmed but I don’t have a dimmer and don’t feel I need to use a dimmer.When I’m working, I bring in an extra lamp for task lighting. I have more lamps in the room for additional lighting as well.These bulbs are just now starting to burn out on me after a year and 5 months, so they lasted a year and a half for me in a heavily used dining room. I don’t remember how long incandescent lights used to last but it seems like that is normal for them.I wish they were LED but I love the look so much that I will compromise. They are a bit expensive though.

I didn't want something standard for my very special closet chandelier and these bulbs fit the vision. They are outstanding really. Unique and not too bright they set the tone.

I have a Sputnik lamp and these are absolutely the right bulbs for the. They are super low wattage so they last a long time as well.

Perfect bulb for a "sputnik" chandelier. The fingers are spun glass and appear to be glued onto a regular chandelier bulb. It is done very well.

These bulbs are used in our front hall. There are two lights that take 8 bulbs each. It is the style of bulb that has been used for the past 30 years. I have purchased from another site for more money. This was a good deal.

Matches the starburst bulbs that were in our Sputnik light fixture. Out of the 10-pack, one blew the moment the power was turned on. I can only fault the standard quality control issues that most manufacturers have these days.

The bulbs are perfect for my Mid Century Christmas tree that reminds me of the ones from my childhood. With a quality glass paint, I now have assorted colors. I use shimmer to keep them cooler as they get hot as most incandescent bulbs do and they are very bright and a bit of dimming is perfect. Great bulb for 50’s decade projects.

I have a retro sputnik type hanging chandelier. The ordinary bulbs that came with it were boring. I remembered one of my aunts had these bulbs that looked like stars, so I looked on line to see if anyone still made them. They are the PERFECT addition to my retro dining room! I LOVE THEM. I am writing this review a long time after I received them, and the fixture is on every day, and not one bulb has burned out yet. When they eventually do, I'll be back to purchase more!
