Q: Do these cover the bottom of the seat and have pouches on the front and side, or is it just the back?

No they are a seat back cover only, they lace up the sides and top to fit the width of your seat, all the pouches attach to the back of the cover.very sturdy, but laces could have been longer, planning on replacing them with 550 cord to better for the contours of my seat and still have length to tie off, I had to skip some loops to get them on right.

Q: Will it fit the bucket seats in my 02 Ranger??

Yes. I had it in a Toyota FJ Cruiser. It should fit perfectly as long as you have the bucket seats. I have loved mine.

Q: will this fit a jeep renegade?

I'd imagine so. The covers are pretty adjustable. I have them on the seats in my Ram 1500. If you have any sort of a sport seat, I'd say that's what would cause and issue.
