Nice book, good addition for anyone reading and thinking about the poetry and prose of SH.

Good poetry but uneventful life

Seeing this little book was love at first sight. It arrived in pristine condition thanks to excellent packaging.A combination of size, shape, weight and feel, the elegance of the dust cover, the page layout with pleasing margins, present as a modern classic. Impossible to place hidden away on a shelf, it has assumed its place on a flat surface where it can be glimpsed on passing back and forth.First heard about on Radio 4 in a recent reading by Adrian Dunbar, it is now very good to know of an eminent author on Irish history. Many thanks to all who produced this little gem and packaged it so well for delivery.

I really loved this book: it's thoughtful, appreciative, well researched, personal. I read it twice. It's a pleasure to handle because it is small and neat and beautifully presented.
