Here's how to get FIVE star results and turn heads!
This film is surprisingly great! I was hesitant to buy it due to the other reviews, but thankfully they are way off!! I purchased the florescent yellow to use on my Honda CBR motorcycle and it's exactly what I wanted. I snapped photos along the way to show a few steps I took and the outcome I came up with. To be honest I would consider myself a experienced DIYer so even if you've never used this before it's simple to use as long as you understand how it works.First and foremost it has a protective film over the adhesive just like any other "sticker" or vinyl....however this film also has a protective film over the finished surface, this is to allow you to use a credit card or plastic squeegee during installation without damaging the finished surface. (NOTE some of the "creases" people are referring to are actually just the PROTECTIVE FILM, and this is common because it's temporary and not meant to adhere to the vinyl long. These creases will go away during installation as will both of the protective films)Be sure the surface is free of all dirt, grease, chemicals, or moisture of any sort. Then size up the surface and amount of material you will need. Best way with larger lenses is to use painters tape or masking tape to hold the vinyl in position while precutting and while installing.Once you're ready to install you slowly work inch by inch from one side to the other making sure you have plenty of overhang to heat and tuck later. NOTE This film is a one and done, you cannot place it down and reposition it or else you'll start to blur the adhesive and ultimately have a poor result.Once the film is on the surface trim any excess overhang you have, making sure you leave enough to finish the job. Then using either a heat gun on low or a hair dryer on high, slowly wave the heat in small sections of the overhang and press firmly with your card or fingers making the vinyl stick around the edges. Anywhere a crease or finger bubble pops up just cut a straight line down the middle of it to the edge and tuck it under eachother. Continue to do this until finished. Any bubbles on the main surface can be fixed with a needle by popping it and pressing firmly. Good luck to all hope this helps. I love it! Oh and I'm in the process of painting the fairings which is why my bike is naked. 😂

Good value
A bit difficult to work with but that may have been because i was using a hair dryer instead of a heat gun. Looks good though, just a bit tough to get the air bubbles out once it's on

Do not buy! Doesn’t stick and shrinks bad!
First I noticed it has streaks in it. I figured it wasn’t too horrible so I went ahead attempting to install it. I have installed tint film many times on headlights. This stuff was horrible. It doesn’t stretch, and a little heat like with most tint films helps it stretch. But this shrinks when heated. And not just a little bit. It shrunk over 25% most tint films shrink maybe 4-5%. Not only that, the roll was closer to 36” than 48”. I expected to do two headlights because the headlight was only 21” at the longest point. And finally, I’d that wasn’t bad enough, the stuff doesn’t stick well. I prepped the surface extremely well. I used degreaser followed by denatured alcohol. Attempting to stretch it around the bend of the headlight resulted in it pulling up on the other end. This stuff is supposed to have permanent adhesive. I’ve had temporary vinyl stick better. Do not buy this unless you want temporary streaky chameleon vinyl for a flat surface.

Cool but difficult to work with
After an hour and a half I ended up with it looking cool from a distance but up close I have a few creases and I had a really hard time getting the edges to stay put even with a really hot hairdryer. I used water to apply it but I think it would be way better doing it dry. I’m happy with my result but I feel like it’s gonna peel up in one day..,

Takes a bit of effort, looks great
Added to the headlight on my XV250 chopper project. End result looks great, took about 2 hours to get it nice and clean though. Heat gun required for sure, best advice is to stretch it out over your surface as flat as you can while its hot and malleable, especially on corners or round edges, this stuff does not like round or hard edges/angles.Prep your surface with alcohol and make sure there’s absolutely no tiny pieces of dirt or you'll never get the bubbles out. Pre heat the surface to make it stick well, my headlight is glass so it was easy but be careful obviously.

Good green film
I have purchased green film on here before. This film is thicker and a little more difficult to shape. I used a heat gun and it worked fine

Poor results, but cheap film.
Like other reviewers, the film arrived quickly, but rolled so tightly that the film had permanent creases. I applied mine dry over late model Tahoe lights, which are pretty flat. Unfortunately, there is no air release, and once it touches the surface, it’s stuck! Many bubbles and creases, even with heat and stretch. The film has an adhesive protective layer as well as a layer over the finish, like a cell phone lens protector. Even after removing the top layer, and popping bubbles with post heat, results are not what I wanted. Looks good from 20 feet away, but crap up close. Not sure how it affects the light output yet. I’ve used VVIVID dry headlight wrap on another vehicle, and it turned out flawless.
