Works great, very accurate
Works great, very accurate! This kit is solid and very well put together, unlike some other cheap ones I've tried. If you want something that will actually work, invest in this one. Easily connected to my truck and the free spark plug tester was a nice bonus. Great product!

Not pleased.
Junk. Absolute junk. I personally feel that many of the other "good" reviews are fake... The Guage was installed with the needle behind the "0" pin. So when I tried to do the compession test it was reading nothing. I had to dismantle the Guage cap and put the needle on the correct side of the pin. The small threaded pieces you can choose from do not stay attached to the hose. The o-ring does not fit properly (just squished out the side of the connection because its too large of an o-ring). Also, the brass fitting became stuck in the engine where my spark plug goes because when i tried to remove it it became unthreaded from the adapter piece. Had to re thread the adapter back into the stuck fitting using blue loctite, then let it sit overnight, then remove. This tool is very risky. Not pleased.

Quality
Havent used it yet. Gauge appears to be solid and well prtected by rubber coating. Other parts also appear to be made with quality and care. Only reason 4 stars is I haven't used it yet.

The gauge and hose are nice, but I'm disappointed with the fittings
The gauge and hose are nice, but I'm disappointed with the fittings. I absolutely can't get it to thread in. I went to the autoparts store and rented their tester and it hooked right up. I was also hoping the metal tubes would connect to the fittings as that'd make it easy to get a tight seal, but they'll only connect to the rubber grommets. An extension would've been really handy and it's the prime reason I paid extra for this kit.Anyway, it's unusable for me and I still have to go to the store to rent, so I'm pretty disappointed. A different set of fittings will solve the issue though.

Everything went together easily and functioned well
I just used this to test the compression on my 04 Lexus GX 470 by myself. It was important to me that the gauge held the reading at max pressure until it was released...and it did. Everything went together easily and functioned well. The instructions were clear and well made with color pictures and easy to follow explanations. It even had a section explaining what the readings meant. It exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this product.

This is a great product at a great price
This is a great product at a great price! Shipping was quick and as soon as I got it I used it. I tested the compression on my engine to try to diagnose an issue. Using this tester made it possible to rule out several potential issues. It also included a very handy poster sized photographic explanation of what specific results of the compression test mean. That was very helpful for a novice hot rod enthusiast like myself. Thanks for a great product at a reasonable price!

Great product for the price
Great product for the price. The one thing I did not like too much if the pressure release valve, I had to press it a couple of times for it to release the pressure. Not a bad product for a home mechanic.
